(i) plants and (ii) animals.

3. Justify the following statements with correct explanations[2marks X 2 = 4marks]


(a) ‘In the absence of micro-organisms the earth would become a heap of
dead plants and animals.’.
(b)’Food from puffed or enlarged cans should not be consumed’.

4. What is food poisoning and food preservation? State and explain any 4
