Cast Resin Transformers

Introduc�on
Our 420 range of single phase voltage transformers with single or double fuse arrangements has been
designed for customers who prefer single phase configurations rather than our 3 phase monobloc cast-
ing. For switchgear applications in instrument control, metering and protection. Available with single
or double secondary windings for AC measurement of voltages between phase to ground or phase to
phase, with system voltages up to 15.5 KV.

Standards
Our units are designed to meet the requirements of BS EN 6044-2 BS7625, ANSI-C57-13, CAN3-C13
and AS 1675 standards and/or customers’ specific requirements.
All our units are ROHS compliant.

Construc�on
Cast polyurethane resin block complete with core and coils mounted onto a stainless steel base plate.
Comparative Tracking Index (CTI) of our polyurethane resin in volts >600 thus giving an assigned Per-
formance Level Category (PLC) of 0. Our units are also available cast in epoxy resin if required.
Cores are constructed from grain orientated silicon steel. Windings are in high grade copper double
coated with polyester. The units are fitted with brass M8 HV terminals and M6 brass LV terminals. HV
fuses are secured and mounted by 25mm spring clips. Dimensions are as per diagram.

Indoor voltage transformers with single or double secondary windings, system voltages up to 15.5KV.
