Reflection on the K-W-L Chart

Preparing for the K-W-L Chart has been an exceptionally noteworthy experience in my
academic journey within the major course subject. This exercise highlights my understanding of
the existing knowledge, areas of curiosity, and the concepts I have acquired regarding the
circulation of ideas in assessment and instruction. It has proven to be one of the most
challenging aspects of my Professional Education Course Subject, as it requires a thorough
exploration of the foundational principles and the updated Bloom's Taxonomy. I have come to
realize the significance of assessment in our lives, whether it be in the form of formative or
summative evaluations, and its integration into values education. Despite the existence of
various assessment methods, adherence to the established criteria for consistency remains
crucial. I aim to exercise caution in selecting the most suitable verb for the objectives and their
corresponding direction. The provided directions serve as a helpful indication to further elucidate
the intended offerings for students and the actions they would undertake if the verb is likely
employed in a motivational or main activity.

The knowledge I have acquired during my Term 3 experience is something that I can readily
recall. Therefore, I am interested in understanding how this knowledge is integrated and utilized
across all grade levels in alignment with the desired learning competencies. Maintaining my
gallery and staying informed about new concepts has been an integral part of my lifelong
learning journey. It empowers me to seek out new information and incorporate it into my
teaching practice as a pre-service teacher. Typically, I do not openly express my desire for
knowledge, but the process of seeking clarification is a blessing. I strive to address any gaps in
my understanding as promptly as possible, as it is my responsibility to stay up to date with new
information and resources. Observing the progress individuals make throughout their personal
endeavors is a phenomenon that I have personally experienced. It is probable that I have
relocated due to various factors, as long as there is substantial justification for such a decision.
Furthermore, the emergence of novel outcomes, coupled with the reinforcement of my existing
knowledge, as substantiated by scholarly articles, instills within me a sense of empowerment to
undertake the task at hand.

In addition to the aforementioned, the acquired profound experiences adequately meet my


requirements in daily endeavors as I strive to become a fully qualified pre-service educator. I
have observed the immense gratification that comes with possessing the ability to effectively
facilitate and disseminate novel knowledge. This notion has provided me with the motivation to
persevere regardless of the circumstances and to continuously pursue new learning
opportunities. This approach has also equipped me with the means to further develop my
capabilities in order to effectively address any emerging information. This particular strategy can
undoubtedly be adapted at the commencement of each period to evaluate students' long-held
knowledge, enabling them to contribute valuable insights and share their expertise with their
peers in which everyone inclusively adds support in everything.
