1.3 SWOT ANALYSIS
Strength :-
Weakness :-
1. There are less days for the course. The company should maximize the days of the
courses.
Opportunity :-
logistics providers in the international market. Social media growth can help them to
reduce the cost of entering a new market and reaching customers at a significantly lower
marketing budget. It can also lead to crowd sourcing various services and
consumer oriented marketing based on the data and purchase behavior.
Threats :-
1. Threats of New Entrants because of Reducing Costs and Increasing Efficiencies .As the
company can leverage low cost of reaching customers using social media and
e-commerce, so can the competitors both local and international competitors.
2. Increasing bargaining power of buyers is one of the threats for the company.Over the
years the bargaining power of customers of the company has increased significantly that
is putting downward pressure on prices. The company can pursue horizontal integration
to consolidate and bring efficiencies but I believe it will be a short term
relief.

1.4 Vision and Mission of the Company

people around us.

CHAPTER - 2
LITERATURE REVIEW
14
2.1 Several studies have noted that the online element of blended learning education has
important implications for students’ experience of the learning setting (c.f. Saghafi, Franz and
Crowther, 2014), the learning community and their own learner identity (Baxter and Haycock,
2014). Some research emphasizes the extent to which the absence of the F2F
environment in asynchronous online teaching reduces the possibility of in-person interaction
between students and instructors (Saghafi, Franz and Crowther, 2014) despite the importance
that is still attached to F2F communication in students’ learning experience (Tambouris, Zotou
and Tarabanis, 2014; Israel, 2015; Bolsen et al., 2016).
2.2 Nonetheless, the same and other research has pointed to the advantages that the online
teaching environment offers – e.g. in terms of “shifting the learning environment to a more
social, flexible and personal space” and thus promoting a student centered, problem-solving
and social constructivist approach to learning (Westermann, 2014; Saghafi, Franz and Crowther,
2014, Gonzàles-Gómez et al., 2016). The latter is, moreover, increasingly
becoming a feature said to characterize contemporary learning settings in general.
2.3 Moravec et al. (2015) showed how e-learning tools impact students’ achievement. The study
was attended by nearly 2000 students. According to Moravec et al. (2015), the study compares
the results of questions from the area of law where the tool was provided in a pilot version with
the results of questions, where the e-learning tool was not provided. The
researchers found that the e-learning tools have affected the students’ results. Nevertheless, the
belief that the e-learning tool may possibly have a negative effect on students who will
depend on given materials was disproved.
2.4 Teo (2014) aimed to clarify the extent of teacher satisfaction of the application of e-learning
programs among persevere teachers. Teo (2014) investigated the key drivers of teachers’ e-
learning satisfaction. 387 participants in a postgraduate diploma in education completed a
survey questionnaire to measure 6 constructs (tutorquality, perceived usefulness, perceived
ease of use, course delivery, facilitating conditions, and course satisfaction). .
2.5 According to Forbes , “ Homeflic Wegrow : Taking action to empower the youth like never
before”.They aspire to create a community, which connects the youth of India by organizing
knowledge meets, networking events, trips, and online sessions. Another distinguishing service
15
the company provides is that it gives many Indians the opportunity to start their own
business. They provide online courses which can be availed at pocket-friendly prices from the
comfort of your home. These courses are futuristic and dynamic in nature as the variety of these
courses ranges from learning the French language to mastering the stock market scenario. They
strive to improve the current education system to give it more structure and ensure its
accessibility. This organised education system which works on the principle of using
technology for good and social upliftment, will also ensure that the new education
system does not discriminate on the basis of the socio-economic background of any student.
