Introduction
1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 Safety considerations
Although all the controllers have been developed with suitable protective devices with special consideration for
all safety measures, it is not possible to exclude faults. In the interest of your own safety please read the
following instructions:
• Sharp edges and delicate components! Carry unpacked units by holding them by their side elements.
Touching the surface under the circuit board or metal parts when removing the boards can cause
damage to components and injury to yourself.
• When the power supply is ON, the inside of the Controller and its terminals are under voltage. Touching
live components can be fatal! Never insert long objects (pliers, screwdrivers, etc.) in the Controller
through the top or the bottom of the unit while it is in use.
• Risk of damage to the Controller if this is not firmly secured in a vertical position. For wall-mounted
Controllers, make sure the supports have a suitable carrying capacity. Do not place the Controller
upright otherwise it might fall over.
• There is a voltage hazard even after the main power supply has been switched off! The components
inside the Controller are under voltage for about three minutes after the main power supply has been
disconnected. Wait three minutes before opening the cover. Never u the Controller with the cover open.
• The Controllers are fully compliant with the 2004/108/EC directive on ELECTROMAGNETIC
COMPATIBILITY.

3. INSTALLATION
3.1 Initial checks
1. Switch OFF the main power switch and check if the 200 Cory CPU board is connected to the 204 PWR
board, as indicated in the electrical diagram.
2. Switch ON the VA switch on the controller.
3. Switch ON the main power switch.
The following LEDs on the 204 PWR board must be all on: D13 (PFR) D24 (Battery charger), D17 (24V).
With single-phase systems, check whether there is a J3-J4 jumper (PFR bypass) on the 204 PWR board.
On 200 Cory board, the 11 ,14, 16, 17 and 18 LEDs must all be OFF (VA open).
Check whether the board is powered (D96 +5V, D92 LED +12V and D91 LED +24V).
The keyboard display shows "F1". The diagnostic LEDs are all ON except for the first one (LED 1).
• LED 11 is OFF. LED 14, 16 ,17 and 18 are all ON. Otherwise see Table 1 (or Table 2) for the error
message.
• The keyboard display shows the code “4E”. Otherwise see Table 1 for the error message.
• LED 1 of the LED diagnostics is the only one ON and is blinking. Otherwise see Table 2 for the fault.
• Check the correct setting of the doors with the setting of switches SW3 and SW4.
If the above mentioned steps are conducted successfully, the controller operates correctly with the follow
setting (ref. Layout 200 Cory Board and Table 3):
SW1 (all OFF, except for bit “4” that is ON), SW2 and SW4 all OFF, SW3 all ON

3.2 Warnings
Hydraulic system
For hydraulic systems set bit 5 of SW1 to ON (return to bottom floor after 15 min. and relevelling management).
Maintenance
Set switch P1 to the “MRV2” position for movement at V2 speed during maintenance.
Emergency
When available, the emergency operation (at 12V) is managed automatically, both for the return to landing and
the door opening stage.
Fire service
The fire service operation is performed in accordance with “EN81”.

This option blocks access to certain floors without a specific code entered via the car push button station if lift is
not in fire service operation. If the code entered is wrong or the waiting time (about 8 sec.) expires, the car call
buttons start to blink.
Each floor has a code consisting of 4 digits and two configurations, as shown below:
C0,C1 Secret code floor 0
C2,C3 Secret code floor 1
C4,C5 Secret code floor 2
………………………………….
CE,CF Secret code floor 7
To program the codes, follow the procedure described in the "Parameter programming" paragraph.
Factory setting: the default secret code is = "FF" for all the floors and means this isn’t a secret floor.
To confirm the car call at floor 0, the floor selection must be followed by the input of the secret code
programmed. The ‘open door’ button and ‘open door due to overload’ button are always active.
To delete the secret code of a floor, set the configuration of the floor to "FF".

defines the waiting time between the closure of the doors on one side and the opening of the doors on
the other side.
Values between 0 and 6 where 1 = 0.5 sec. and 6 = 3 sec.

5. INSULATION RESISTANCE
5.1 Preliminary instructions
Before starting the test, conduct the following operations:
1) Stop the car between two floors with the doors closed.
2) Open the main switch of the power circuit and of the lighting circuit.
3) Disconnect the earth connector coming from the PE terminal.
4) Disconnect the terminal bat+ of the battery.
5) Disconnect the power supply of the door operator from the N terminal (three-phase neutral).
6) Disconnect the all connectors of the 200Cory and 204PWR electric boards.
7) Short circuit the GND +24VDC terminals and connect them to the probe of the designated multimeter set
as Ohm x 100. With the second multimeter probe check carefully that there is NO conduction between the
power supply, lighting and alarm circuits and all the points of the safety chain (X2 terminal board) and the
PE earth connector.
If you find there is conduction between one or more points checked and the PE earth connector, check
and fix the wrong connection before starting the insulation test to avoid causing damage on the
electronic circuits.
Note: the codes below refer to the electrical diagrams enclosed with the controller and can be identified
through the ‘electrical diagrams key’ enclosed with the diagrams themselves.
At the end of insulation test, disconnect GND from +24VDC, reconnect the doors power supply to the N
terminal, restore the battery connection, connect the FASTON CONNECTOR to the earth bar and
