SUMMARY Featuring a foreword by heralded playwright David Henry Hwang, best known as the author of M. Butterfly, this book collects Pak's award-winning film scripts for the first time. The lead screenplay Robot Stories was Pak's first feature film which won 35 film festival awards, and is on home video by Kino International. Robot Stories was science fiction from the heart: four stories starring Tamlyn Tomita (Joy Luck Club, Babylon 5) in which human characters struggle to connect in a world of the near future. TV Guide wrote "Following in the footsteps of Ray Bradbury, Rod Serling and Philip K. Dick...Pak returns to the tradition of intelligent, humanistic sci-fi and reminds us of the value of good genre fiction." AUTHOR
Greg Pak studied political science at Yale University, history at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar, and film production at the NYU graduate program. He is now a heralded writer for Marvel Comics, and has scripted critically acclaimed and best-selling adventures for Iron Man, the X-men, Hercules, Silver Surfer, and the Incredible Hulk.
