LEARNING EPISODE 7: GUIDING PRINCIPLES IN TEACHING AND LEARNING

Name: JUSTO, Carlo James T. Course Year and Section: BSED Fil 4A

I. Objectives:
a. Identify the application of some guiding principles in the selection and use of teaching
strategies
b. Identify the resource teacher ‘s questioning and reacting techniques
c. Determine whether or not the lesson development was in accordance with outcome-based
teaching-learning.
II. Learning Activities:
A. Observe
1. Observe a class with the use of this observation sheet and focus the guiding principles and provide
some examples on how it was implemented inside the classroom. ( Examples of guiding principles are
stated below . Write your own examples of guiding principle.)

1. The more the senses are involved, the Pagtuturo ng isang kuwento gamit ang bidyo. Ang bidyo ay isang
more and the better the learning audio visual presentation kung saan mas nakahihigit kung
ikukumpara sa makalumang estilo na pagkukuwento ng isang guro
dahil nagagamit din ang ibang pandama tulad ng paningin.

2. Learning is an active process Recitation –hindi lamang ang guro ang nagsasalita o nagiging aktibo
sa loob ng klase kailangan magkaroon din ng mas malaking bahagi
ang mag-aaral.

3. A non-threatening atmosphere Respeto sa pagkakaiba –ang bawat mag-aaral ay mayroong iba’t


enhances learning. ibang katangian, kaugalian at paniniwala. Sa kabila nito marapat
lamang na magkaroon ng respeto ang bawat isa na magiging daan sa
ligtas at panatag na kapaligiran na tutungo sa pagkatuto.

4. Emotion has the power to increase Dynamics—isa sa magandang katangian ng guro ay ang kaniyang
retention and learning kakayahang manipulahin ang kaniyang sarili. Hindi monotone kundi
gumagamit ng emossyon sa pagtuturo. Gayon din sa mag-aaral, sa
tulong ng guro kailangaan iparamdam nito sa kaniyang mag-aaral na
kailangan din ng puso sa pagkatuto.

5. Good teaching goes beyond recall of Binabalik-balikan ang bawat impormasyon at hindi lamang basta
information pinapasadahan lang. Nagkakaroon ng pagbabalik tanaw at recitation
kung talagang nauunawaan ba.

6. Learning is meaningful when it is Magbigay ng mga halimbawa na kanilang nararanasan bilang


connected to students’ everyday life kabataan. Lumabas sa libro at magbigay ng mga karanasan na alam
ng guro na mauunawaan at naranasan na ng mag-aaral.

B. Analyze
1. What is the most effective guiding principle in teaching? Is there such thing?
Magkaroon ng malinaw na layunin. Sa pagpaplano nagsisimula ang lahat. Kapag pinag-isipan ng guro
ang mga hakbang na kaniyang gagawin ay tiyak na magiging maayos din ang daloy ng talakayan.

2. What is the importance in using various reacting techniques?


Natutulungan nito ang mga mag-aaral na maramdaman na kasali sila sa silid-aralan. Negatibo o
positibo man ang kanilang naging aksyon ay marapat lamang na tumugon dito ang guro nang sa gayon
mapansin ang ginawa ng mag-aaral at maitama kung ito ay mali at mabigyang pugay kung ito ay tama.

3. Did the teacher state the learning objectives?

Hindi madalas. May mga pagkakataon na hindi nasasabi ng guro ang kaniyang magiging layunin sa
raraw na iyon.

4. What teaching-learning activities (TLA) did she use? Did these TLA helped in attaining the lesson
objectives/ ILO?

Oo, gumagamit ang guro ng mga aktibidad na mahahasa ang collaboration ng bawat mag-aaral.
Ngunit sa aking pagsusuri may ilang mag-aaral na naiiwanan at hindi nagkakaroon ng ambag sa
kanilang mga grupo. Dahil dito nagkakaroon sila ng grado kahit wala silang ginagawa. Kaya
kailangan masigurado ng guro na ang bawat isa ay may magagawa o maitutulong.

5. What assessment did the teacher employ? Were they aligned to the objectives/ILO

Kailangan ay naka linya sa layunin ang bawat pagtataya na ipagagawa ng guro. Upang
masigurado ang kanilang pagkatuto gamit ang angkop na aktibidad o pagtatanghal.

C. Documentation

Put pictures and under each picture, write two or three related sentences about your
observation.(maximum of 4 pictures)

Nagbibigay ng tugon ang guro sa bawat grupo sa kanilang ikinikilos. Kapag sumosobra sa
ingay ay binabawalan niya. Nagpapakita ito na ang tamang pagtugon ay nagsisilbing gabay sa mga
mag-aaral sa kanilang nararapat gawin.
