Hybrid Systems:
Hybrid System is an intelligent system which is a combination of Fuzzy Logic,
Neural Networks & Genetic Algorithm. These systems are capable of reasoning and
learning in an uncertain environment and can provide human-like expertise like
domain knowledge, adaptation in noisy environment etc.
Neuro fuzzy system is based on fuzzy system which is based on the working of
neuro network theory. It has different layers structure. The input variables, the fuzzy
rules and the output variables are fuzzy sets. Fuzzy sets which provide processing
and training the model.

A Neuro Genetic Hybrid System is a system that combines neural networks and
genetic algorithm. Genetic algorithms can be used to improve the performance of
neural networks to decide the common weights of the inputs. These algorithms can
be used for topology selection and training network.
GA is used for topology optimization to select number of hidden layers, nodes and
interconnection patten for ANN.
GA control parameters such as learning rate, momentum rate, tolerance level etc.
