Fujikura RS02 / RS03
Ribbon Fibre Stripper
The Fujikura RS02 and RS03 are
ribbon fibre strippers designed for the
telecommunication industry.
They enable the UV coating to be stripped off
optical fibre cables, with them capable of stripping
the coating off ribbon fibre cables with up to 12
fibres.
Both are designed and developed with emphasis
on operability and usability where less force is
required for the stripping process. Furthermore
wireless link with smartphones is possible thanks
to built-in Bluetooth® connectivity that provides
operational parameters adjustment. Both models
are also compatible with stripping the latest Fujikura
Spider Web Ribbon™, which consists of optical fibres
(with a coating diameter of 250μm or 200 μm) fixed
intermittently.
The RS03 is further equipped with a large capacity
battery for 600 stripping cycles, 6 times larger than
a conventional stripper.
