2. Click "Add an activity or resource" and select "Assignment".
3. Fill out the assignment details including name, description, availability dates, submission type, and grade category. Then click "Save and return to course".

How to add an Assignment
• Step 1: Go to your subject
• Step 2: Click on TURN EDITING ON • Step 3: Click on add an activity or resource • Step 4: Select Assignment
• Step 5: Fill out the information needed for the assignment
• 5.1: GENERAL • 5.1.1: Assignment name – write your assignment name • 5.1.2: Description – what is your assignment all about • 5.2: AVAILABILITY • 5.2.1: Allow submissions from – when are you going to accept or allow students to submit their assignments • 5.2.2: Due date – when the student needs to submit their assignments • 5.2.3: Cut-off date – until when you are going to accept the late assignments • 5.2.4: Remind me to grade by – system will tell remind you to grade their assignment
• 5.3: SUBMISSION TYPE
• 5.3.1: Submission types – how would you like your students
to submit their assignments • 5.3.2: Maximum number of uploaded files – how many files they can send you • 5.3.3: Maximum submission size – size of the file they can send you • 5.3.4: Accepted file types • 5.3.4.1: click on CHOOSE
• 5.3.4.1: Then click on the file type you will need to
accept in sending you their assignment
• 5.4: GRADE • 5.4.1: Grade category - click the arrow up and down and choose which category you will put it
