The key is used for dual purposes depending on the direction


that the switch is activated.

The ‘Audit’ position allows the operator access to the Audit Mode Menu.

Jackpot/J-Key (Anti-Clockwise)

The ‘Jackpot Reset’ position allows the operator to perform the following tasks:

 Clear an error/lockup state that caused a CALL ATTENDANT message to be

displayed

 Clear the credit meter after a cancelled credit pay out

 Illuminate the Hardmeters

1. To clear a lockup state that caused a CALL ATTENDANT message to be

displayed, turn the J-Key to the ‘Jackpot Reset’ position.

2. Press [Select] to obtain a list of actions required to solve the problem.

If this fails to clear the error, the Audit Mode will need to be
used to further diagnose the problem.

3. After the problem has been resolved, return the J-Key to its original position to

resume Game Play.

Clear A CANCEL CREDIT

1. When a Cancel Credit is displayed on the EGM.

2. Clear the Cancel Credit by turning the J- Key to the ‘Jackpot Reset’ position.

3. Once payout details have been recorded, return the J-Key to its original position

to resume Game Play.

Accessing THE HARD METERS

The Hard Meters are located underneath the Jackpot/Audit Lock.

1. Turn the J-Key to the ‘Jackpot Reset’ position. This will illuminate the Hard

Meters.

How To Navigate through the Menu Items


Once in the Audit Mode Screen, use the following buttons to navigate:

 [Prev] and [Next] Buttons to move up or down to highlight menu option.

 [Select] Button to enter the highlighted menu.

 [+1] or [-1] to increase or decrease the number.

 [<] or [>] to move decimal position left or right.

 [Back] Button to return to previous menu.

STANDARD METERS

1. From ‘Metering Information’ screen, highlight ‘Standard Meters’ and then press the

[Select] Button.

The ‘Standard Meters’ menu is displayed with the following submenus:

 Master/Periodic Meters

 Game Meters:

2. Select this submenu to view and record the meters.

Within this screen, the commonly venue required information are found such

as:

 Games played

 EGM Turnover / Wins

 Cancelled Credits

 Coins In / Out

 Banknotes In

 Total Jackpot Wins

 Money In / Out

Game Meters

3. Select this submenu to view game meters such as Games Played / Turnover /

Wins.

4. To view any of the submenu items, highlight and then press [Select] Button.

LAST 10 BANKNOTES HISTORY

1. From ‘Metering Information’ screen, highlight ‘Last 10 Banknotes History’ and then

press the [Select] Button.

The history of the last 10 notes inserted into the EGM will be
displayed from newest (1) to the oldest (10).
Each note entry has a date, time and denomination value.

2. Press [Back] Button to exit back to ‘Metering Information’.

JACKPOT INFORMATION

1. From ‘Metering Information’ screen, highlight ‘Jackpot Information’ and then press

the [Select] Button.

The Jackpot Information menu provides all the information


related to Jackpots.

2. To view any of the submenu items, highlight and then press [Select] Button.

3. To exit out of the submenu, press [Back] Button, which will return to ‘Jackpot

Information’.

4. Press the [Back] Button to exit back to ‘Metering Information’.

Jackpot Information Submenus

 Standalone Jackpot History

This option lists Stand Alone Progressive (SAP) Jackpots won by the EGM. It

provides details regarding the amount won, level, date and time when SAP

jackpots are awarded.

 Standalone Jackpot Meters

This option lists all the meters relating to SAP such as increment percentage,

total SAP Amount Won and Current SAP value.

Use the [Next Level] Button to toggle between different SAP levels.

 Mystery Jackpot Win History

This option lists Mystery Jackpots won by the EGM. It provides details regarding

the amount won, level, date and time when Mystery Jackpots are awarded.

 Mystery Jackpot Information

This option lists all the information regarding the Mystery Jackpot

Configuration.

 Mystery Jackpot Configuration History

This option lists the history of Jackpots that have been configured in the EGM.

RESET ALL PERIODIC METERS

1. From ‘Metering Information’ screen, highlight ‘Reset All Periodic Meters’ and then

press the [Select] Button.

The following confirmation message will be displayed on the screen:

Reset all periodic Meters?

2. Press either [Yes] Button to Reset (i.e. Step 2a) or [Back] Button to Cancel (i.e.

Step 2b).

2a. Press [Yes] Button to reset all Periodic Meters to Zero.

A confirmation will appear on the screen momentarily and upon completion, the

screen will automatically exit back to ‘Metering Information’ Screen.

2b. Press [Back] Button to return to the ‘Metering Information’ screen without

resetting.

PREVIOUS GAME HISTORY

1. From ‘Main Menu’ screen, highlight ‘Previous Games History’ and then press the

[Select] Button.

The ‘Previous Games History’ screen information lists the outcome of the last 50

games played from the newest (Old Game # 1) to the oldest (Old Game #50).

This information is useful for validating game outcomes and


helping to settle customer disputes.

2. Use [Prev] Button and [Next] Button to navigate through the last 50 games

played in the EGM from the most recent (Old Game #1) to the oldest (Old Game

#50).

3. Press [Select] Button to view the selected game.

4. Press [Back] Button to return to ‘Main Menu’ screen.

The results and outcomes of the last game played (Old Game #1) is displayed.

Within the ‘Last Game Played History’ screen, use the following buttons to view the

different options available:

Gamble Button

Pressing the [Gamble] Button will display the gamble results if a gamble was

played after the initial game win.

Meter Button

Pressing the [Meter] Button will displays the audit meters of the game you are

viewing.

Feature Button

The [Feature] Button is only available with games that triggered a feature.

Pressing this button allows you to view the outcome of each feature game (the last

free spin game will be displayed first, use the [Prev] Button to scroll through all the

free spins).

HOPPER METERS AND REFILL

The “Hopper Refill” function can only be accessed from the


“Main Menu”. The Main Door MUST be opened to perform
the Hopper fill.
Perform Refill

1. Open Main door

2. Turn the Audit Key to access the ‘Audit Mode’.

The ‘Error Recovery’ menu is displayed.

3. Press the [Back] Button twice to exit the ‘Error Recovery’ screen and return to the

‘Main Menu’.

4. Navigate to the ‘Hopper Refill’ menu item and press [Select] Button.

The ‘Hopper Refill’ menu is displayed.

The default is set to the ‘Number of Coins to be refilled’ with


amount that was set at Master Reset stage.

To change this value, use the following buttons:

 [+1] or [-1] to increase or decrease the number

 [<] or [ >] to move position left or right (e.g. 0300 for $300)

5. Highlight ‘Perform Refill’ and then press the [Select] Button.

The following message will be displayed on the screen:

Refill hopper with xxx tokens, then close main door; Then

press Yes Button; Otherwise, press No button to cancel.

Proceed to Step 6 to continue with Hopper Refill or Step 8 to cancel the Hopper

refill.

6. Fill the hopper with the corresponding amount of coins as entered in step 4.

7. Press [Yes] Button.

If the procedure is performed correctly, a message “Refill performed” will appear

and then automatically exit back to ‘Hopper Refill’ screen.

For additional refills, go back to Step 2 and repeat the process. Ensure the Main

Door remains opened.

8. To cancel the Hopper Refill, press [No] Button to return to ‘Hopper Refill’ screen.

9. To return to the ‘Main Menu’ screen, press the [Back] Button.

10. Close the Main door.

11. Return the Audit Key to its original position to return to Game Play.

View Hopper Meters

1. From the ‘Hopper Refill’ Menu, highlight ‘Hopper Meters’ and then press the

[Select] Button.

Hopper Meters screen is displayed.

EGM POLL ID

The EGM Poll ID is found in the EGM Information

1. From the ‘Main Menu’, highlight ‘EGM Information’ and then press the [Select]

Button.

CASHOUT HISTORY

1. From the ‘Main Menu’, highlight ‘Audit Information’ and then press the [Select]

Button.

2. A list of ‘Audit Information’ submenus is displayed. From this list highlight ‘Cashout

History’ and then press [Select] Button.

Cashout Transactions that have occurred on the machine are displayed from the

latest (1) to the oldest (10).

ADJUSTING EGM SOUND VOLUME

1. From the ‘Main Menu’, highlight ‘Set Machine Options’ and then press the [Select]

Button.

The ‘Set Machine Options’ menu is displayed.

2. Highlight ‘Standard Machine Setup’ and press [Select] Button.

The ‘Standard Machine Setup’ menu is displayed.

Use the following buttons to change the Volume level:

 [+1] or [-1] to increase or decrease Volume level

 [<] or [>] to move position left or right.

 [Prev] or [Next] to move up or down

The Max Hopper Payout is the maximum coins the hopper is allowed to payout. This

figure is set from the host.

3. Highlight ‘Save Setup’ and press [Select] Button.

REMOVE/Replace NOTE Stacker

Remove Note Stacker

1. Open the Main Door.

2. Power off the EGM.

3. Unlock the note stacker lock mechanism. The security arms drop down.

4. Remove the note stacker by sliding out of its housing.

Replace Note Stacker


1. Replace the note stacker by sliding into its housing.

2. Lock the note stacker lock mechanism. The security arms rise up.

REMOVE AND REPLACE HOPPER

The Hopper used by Shuffle Master differs from the Hopper


used by other manufacturers in that it incorporates theft
proof mechanisms. Access to the coins inside the Hopper
can only be done with the Hopper removed.

POWER OFF the EGM before removing the Hopper.

Remove Hopper
1. Open the Main Door.

2. Power off the EGM.

3. Remove the hopper by sliding towards you.

Replace Hopper
1. Reinstall the Hopper by sliding into its housing.

2. Turn the Power switch on.

REMOVE AND REPLACE COIN VALIDATOR

The Coin Validator is located in the main door assembly.

The Coin Validator is held in place by four plastic rods


pushed into the plastic clasps of the Coin Chute Assembly.

The Coin Validator should only be removed to clear coin jams


that could not otherwise be cleared.

Remove Coin Validator


1. Open the Main Door.

2. Power off the EGM.

3. Grab onto the Coin Validator via the points indicated in the diagram.

4. Twist it so that one side comes out first.

Ensure you do not pull the Coin Validator out too far as there
are cables attached to it.

5. Lift the Coin Validator off the Coin Chute assembly clasp.

6. Clear any Jams or faults.

Replace Coin Validator


1. Align the Coin Validator so that the cables are facing towards you and are on the

top left side of the unit.

2. Line up its four plastic rods into the corresponding clasp of the Coin Chute

assembly and gently push it in until a clicking sound is heard.

3. Power on EGM.

COMMON ERROR MESSAGES

The following general errors and possible fault clearing procedures are for machine

attendants.

If you are unable to resolve the error, call the Service


Support Centre.
