Audition Response Deadline: Monday, December 18, 2023. Please submit your audition
as soon as possible. December 18, 2023 is the last possible day we can accept
auditions.
*PROJECT OVERVIEW AND REQUIREMENTS (ONCE YOUR AUDITION HAS BEEN

ACCEPTED)*
1 hour of finished audio (including 15 minutes of video). You will deliver a total of 4
audio files and 1 video file. Each file will be 15 minutes long. The video will be captured
at the same time as 1 of the audio files. The recordings will be used to improve existing
text-to-speech models.
Project Usage:
There will be NO public broadcast or paid usage, meaning no advertisements or online
media.

Restrictions:
- You must be a legal adult (18+ in most countries).
- You guarantee you are not affiliated with a union, guild or any other organization that
prevents you from participating in this project.
- Once hired, you agree to sign a release form that confirms you understand the terms
of this project, i.e., the recordings will NOT be used to create a clone of your voice. -
There will be no advertisements or online media.
- If you live in the US, you are NOT based in the following states: Washington, Illinois or
Texas.
*TO SUBMIT YOUR AUDITION NOW, COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING 2 STEPS:*
(This audition process will take approximately 15 minutes.)
The purpose of this audition is to confirm you have the correct audio and video
specifications, and so we can listen to your voice and language.
*AUDITION STEP 1: RECORD YOUR AUDITION FILES (1 AUDIO FILE AND 1 VIDEO FILE)*
Auditioning Instructions:
- You must record 1 minute of audio of the provided sample script and 3 seconds of
video for your audition.
File naming (use this naming for all three files):

Labelled as “Language (Accent) - firstname lastname - demo”
Example "English (North American) - Brooke Foster - demo"
Audio Specifications:
Record your audio file with a sample rate of 48kHz and a bit-depth of 32-bit
The audio file should be a mono file
Save as a .WAV file format
No dynamics processing like compression, meaning please send us RAW audio. No
plugins or filters (for example no “low-cut” filter).
Minimized background noise, reverberation, breaths and saliva sounds.
You can do this with good soundproofing in your recording space like heavy
blankets around you, or recording in a closet that has lots of clothing in it, nothing
hitting your mic while you record and remembering to breathe naturally so there
aren’t any big breaths in your recordings.
Please edit out any big breaths, extra sounds, noises or long pauses.
Please maintain a consistent distance from the microphone so your overall sound
and quality of your voice stays consistent across all your recordings.
Video Specifications:
Film in 4K or minimum 1080p/ 60fps.
Film in landscape mode. (Turn your camera horizontally.)
Be in the center of the video, with your face looking straight at the camera.
Your head and shoulders must be always visible in the frame.
We must see your eyes and mouth at all times.
Glasses are okay as long as we can see your eyes and there is no glare in the lens
of your glasses.
Mouth cannot be obstructed so please have little or no facial hair.
Your microphone must not obstruct your face.
A uniform background is preferred, like a blank wall, sheet, or blanket. If you're
unable to create this in your recording space, a de-cluttered background is fine.
NO computer-generated backgrounds.
Save as a .MP4 video file.

Timeline:
Once the client approves your files you will be given 3 days to record the 1 hour of audio
and 15 mins of video.
Your Earnings and Payment Terms:

Your earnings will be between $300-$600 USD. You will be paid what you quote under
the 'Your Earnings' question, listed below.
Payment will be facilitated through the Voices.com platform.
