Compact – Versatile – Efficient
The ASB-70DP Series are mid-sized one-step injection stretch blow molding machines offering a perfect balance of productivity
& flexibility that are available in two main variants, the “H” and the “W” model.
Both models share a common overall size and structure, that contributes to simplified factory layout, faster operator training and
reduced cost of maintenance. But, whereas the “H” model provides extremely wide versatility for bottles and large mouth jars
in up to 12 cavities, in the “W” variant the container molding portion - including the rotary table, stretch-blow unit and eject
station - are re-engineered to enable double row molding of smaller containers with thread sizes up to 57mm diameter.
This dramatically increases the potential productivity for bottles up to 1 liter capacity as available cavitation is doubled with up
to 24 cavities being possible for containers up to 100ml capacity resulting in a machine that can produce up to 8,000bph*3 in an
extremely compact floor area of just 10.7m2.

◆ Blow Air Recovery System


After bottles are blown, instead of exhausting the air to atmosphere,

◆ Custom Take-Out System


With the addition of one of our NVES take-out units, molded
containers can be set onto a conveyor ready for automatic
inspection, packing or filling.
Take-out heads are either vacuum or pot style and may be
customized to each container design.

◆ Choice of Injection Units


As standard the ASB-70DPW is fitted with an IU-35 injection unit
giving a theoretical injection capacity of 515cm3 with a 64mm
injection screw.
Where heavier weight preforms are required, or when molding
lower density materials, an optional IU-50 injection unit with a
72mm injection screw can be fitted, increasing the theoretical
injection capacity by 26% up to 651cm3.
