TEM Web ADI Settings and Instructions

I. Required Settings (Excel and Web Browser)

Excel Macro Setting

Click the Excel Options button


Click ‘Trust Center’ on the left menu and then click the ‘Trust Center Settings’ button

Click ‘Macro Settings’ on the left menu of the Trust Center window. Check the box next to the ‘Trust access to the VBA
project object model’ setting.
Click OK.

Web Browser Setting

Internet Explorer
From the web browser click ‘Tools’ > ‘Internet Options’

Click the ‘Security’ tab, select ‘Internet’ in the select a zone region, and click the ‘Custom level…’ button.

In the Security Setting window scroll down until you see the ‘Scripting’ region.
For the ‘Allow status bar updates via script’ click the ‘enable’ button.
Click OK

If the Warning message appears click ‘Yes’ to change the settings.

Firefox Settings
Navigate to the Options menu

Click the ‘Advanced’ button for Enable JavaScript

Enable the ‘Move or resize popup windows’ and ‘Disable or replace context menus’ options.

From the Security options menu enable the ‘Warn me when sites try to install add-ons’

II. Editing and uploading using Web ADI

After logging into BEN Financials select a Penn TEM Web ADI responsibility. Select the TEM maintenance form that you
want to use.

This launches the steps to create the form in MS Excel. Select your version of MS Excel.

Enter the search criteria. Click Continue.

If the site is blocked, right click on the status message and click ‘Download File’.

Open the Excel template the was created.

If prompted, click the Enable Content button.

Once the template is downloaded, click ‘Close’ in the Confirmation window.

The template is then available. To update and add rows unprotect the sheet from the ‘Review’ menu.

Make changes in the fields by tying the information or double clicking to search. If you double click on the cell then the
Search screen pops up.

Once the changes are complete, upload them to Concur by navigating to the ‘Add-Ins’ menu and then ‘Oracle > Upload’

Click the Upload button

If the upload was successful a green smiley icon is returned in the Messages column.
