Hamlet analysis
During the book of Hamlet,it becomes noticeable that Hamlet himself develops repressed feelings of pain,
sorrow, and anger after the absence of his father King Hamlet. As those feelings continue to develop,an
internal battle between his heart and mind begin to externalize in the form of what appears as
insanity. After Hamlet’s thoughts are influenced by his dead father,he realizes that the cause of his death
was Claudius, otherwise known as his uncle.Based on this new insight,Hamlet disaproves of the
relationship between Claudius and his mother “Gertrude.”While Hamlet’s heart found a mechanism that
numbed all the pain and suffering,Hamlet’s mind debated between two pathways from the way things
appeared as. With these circumstances,Hamlet is left with the path of submitting to his anger by planning
revenge or numbing his repressed feelings by taking his life away.Unlike Hamlet’s indecisiveness,Ophelia
chooses to take her life away while remaining confused and hopeless about love. With Hamlet being the
cause of his death,Ophelia couldn’t cope with the loss of her father Polonius.Little did Hamlet know that
her brother Laertes united with Claudius to contemplate the same goal of revenge. The true motive of
Hamlet,Laertes,Gertrude, and Claudius are later revealed at the expense of their own lives. As the author
develops these events throughout the play,he generalizes the idea that deception comes from a person’s
1,Scene IV) This quote suggests that there is a possibility that Hamlet acts impulsively while
chasing the ghost. As a result,Marcellus and Horatio choose to follow Hamlet. The quote

describes the moment Hamlet threatened them with violence if they stopped him.In reference to
the issue between Denmark and Norway,a person‘s first point of view is directed towards the
way Marcellus notices something bad is happening with the country. So the guard makes it
known that evil and dreadful moments were ahead after noticing that something was
Hamlet,Polonius, and Claudius. This is implied when the line used the word “rotten” as an
analogy of decay in Denmark to an image of decay between the characters. The fact that the other
guard Francisico states “I am sick at heart” lets us know that the author purposefully uses the
contributes to death as reflected in Hamlet’s actions. This explains why he threatened the guards
with violence if they stopped him from listening to the ghost of King Hamlet. This explains why
he threatened the guards with violence if they stopped him from listening to the ghost of King
Hamlet.Additionally, another relevant line reveals “Revenge his foul and must unnatural
murder.”(Act 1 scene 5)This line shows how Hamlet is confronted by the ghost of his father, who
reveals the case of his death.Through this revelation,Hamlet finds out that his uncle “Claudius”
committed his death with the in tention of becoming the king of Denmark. This suggests that
Hamlet’s future actions reklied on the fact that hius mother’s relationship with Claudius had
initiated before his father’s death. It becomes evident that Hamlet’s character and reaction to his
father’s absence is driven by what appears to be Claudius’s true intentions and his mother’s
overall feelings towards his dead father. What was precieved as “Incemtuous” from his from his
mother’s part and evil from claudius’s part now drove Hamlet towards deciet from his own
actions.Furthermore,a fragment of the poem states “Though this be madness, yet there is method

in’t.”(Act II,scene II) The interpretation of Hamlet and Polonius during the play proves how
Polonius accepts Hamlet’s insanity while choosing to acknowledge a method behind his
behavior/actions.Polonius asserts that Hamlet is driven by the love he has for Ophelia in order to
act mad. This suggests that Polonius is being deceived by Hamlet’s actions based on the way
Hamlet is intentionally acting mas to disguise what he truly desires. This includes his hidden goal
to avenge his father’s murder. The line becomes relevant according to the way Polonius percives
Hamlet’s actions. While Polonius is incorrect about about the cause or true meaning behind
Hamlet’s actions,he is right about finding a reasonto justify Hamlet’s behavior.For more
clarification, another line says “To be or not to be:that is the question.”(Act III,scene 1)As one of
the well known quotes written by Shakepheare,Hamlet is faced with life’s worst
alternative-taking your own life away.He ocntemplates a trustworthier path for himself by
determining whether or not he should continue to suffer as a result of his inability to act from a
place of revenge. On the other hand,he could end everything in order to numb his
pain, frustration, and repressed anger.Hamlet comes to the realization that death wouldn’t be the
ordinary path he would desire given that everyone faced a common struggle of fearing the
unknown. While Hamlet may give into his delusional way of coping with his father’s absence, the
line reveals that he wouldn’t know what came next after he died.He would only be left with a
poath of deception because committing sucide wouldn’t be an ideal way of escaping his
emotions.
It is Ironic how a person’s poor judgments of reality could lead to a path of deception for
oneself.
