Distribution Center Guidelines:

Our Company is committed to operating in accordance with applicable laws, rules and
regulations. The information contained in these guidelines is designed to provide employees
with an overview of lululemon’s East Coast Distribution Center (Columbus DC) policies and
site expectations (applies to both office and warehouse staff). These guidelines apply to all
people based out of the Columbus DC, including both employees, temporary and fixed term
workers.

The intention behind these polices is to maintain a safe, healthy and enjoyable work
environment for everyone.

For lululemon employees: In addition to the items addressed below, it is mandatory to be


familiar with and adhere to the following:

Security

□ All access points are restricted with electronic locks. To gain access, lululemon
employees will obtain a personal key card during their onboarding.
□ Temporary workers should obtain an access card at the security desk after providing
proof of identification.
□ To maintain asset protection standards, bags/purses and heavy coats/jackets are not
allowed on the warehouse floor. These items can be securely stored in the locker room
(a member of the Safety Team will assign you a locker on your first day).
□ Do not prop doors open or allow access to unknown individuals. If you spot an unknown
individual inside the building, please notify a Manager.
□ Only enter and exit the building through one of the main employee entrances.
□ We conduct checks of employee’s personal belongings any time they leave the
building. This practice is consistent with our core value of integrity.

Safety

□ To ensure the safety of all employees, weapons of any kind are prohibited from being
on company property.
□ To maintain a drug and alcohol free workplace, no employee may consume or possess
alcohol or any illegal drugs while on lululemon property.
□ Smoking and any use of tobacco or e-cigarette products is prohibited on lululemon
property,which includes the parking and driveway areas at all times.
□ Personal vehicles should be parked in a designated area and parking passes must be
visibibly displayed.
□ Cell phones can be carried on your person, but should not be visible or features in use
on the warehouse floor (unless approved for an exception by your Manager or in
designated areas).
□ To prevent injury from entanglement, please secure long hair at or above the shoulder
and avoid loose clothing, jewelry and accessories when on the warehouse floor. In
addition, specific clothing/accessories could be deemed unsafe at manager’s
discretion.
□ To maintain a respectful and safe environment, we would ask all employees to wear
neat, clean, and appropriate clothing to work and to be consistent with the products
we sell.
o Shoes shall be appropriate for the job and work tasks performed and in
accordinance with the safety footwear policy.
o Shirts must be worn at all times, including during workouts
o Shorts should be an acceptable length
□ To ensure that everyone is alert and aware of their surroundings/emergency-alerts,
personal listening devices are not allowed on the warehouse floor (including
speakers/headphones).
□ In the event of an emergency, all staff are to congregate to their assigned location as
designated on the emergency board. Please make sure that you have reviewed and
familiarized yourself with the safety boards, located in the warehouse at the safety
kiosks.
□ It is mandatory to report all injuries, including minor cuts/scrapes to either a Team
Lead or First Aid attendant (including non-work related injuries). You will find self-
serve items in the safety kits at the safety kiosks.
□ Exposure to powered industrial trucks (PIT) is high on the warehouse floor. Be PIT
aware and maintain a minimum safety distance of 3 feet (or 20 feet when the forks or
platform is elevated).
□ All PIT operators are required to hold a valid and manager approved PIT/forklift
license.
□ PIT and pedestrians are required to stop and look in both directions before exiting an
aisle.
□ Only use approved cardboard knives (Klever X-change).
□ The DC is equipped with mechanized material handling equipment (MHE). It is
mandatory to be aware of all emergency stop procedures when working close to MHE.
If you are unclear, notify a Team Lead or Manager immediately.

Environment

□ In order to avoid pests and maintain a clean environment, food and drinks are not
allowed on the warehouse floor (except during special events). Drinks in a secure
container (travel mug) or non-breakable water bottle are exempt.
□ All work areas/stations (including desks and lockers) should be cleaned and cleared of
clutter by end of each day.

Sweat life

□ We encourage all employees to take advantage of our great fitness facility either
through working out on their own or through signing up and joining scheduled classes.
□ You are able to workout and use the dressing room amenities during your hours of
work for up to 75-minutes and the time is unpaid. In order to ensure our timekeeping
is accurate, you are required to sign in and out of the electronic timekeeping system
for your break.
□ You may be required to make up the 75-minute workout time during your shift, if
deemed necessary due to workload. This could require you to support workload in
your home department or another department.
□ To minimize scheduling impact, you are encouraged to workout during the designated
workout times of the day. If you plan to workout during an unscheduled time, you
must receive approval from your Team Lead or Manager.
□ The fitness facility can be accessed at any time during unpaid breaks or before/after
scheduled shifts (area is open during DC operating hours).
□ Please be courteous and follow all gym rules during your workouts and return all
equipment to its designated place after use.

Holiday, Paid time off, and Attendance

□ November 1st to January 15th is our peak season and busiest time of year. This period
is considered a vacation blackout period. However, Managers can approve vacation
requests during the blackout period, subject to business needs and operational
requirements.
□ Rest breaks are 15-minutes for a shift that is 3.5-6 hours in length and a second 15-
minute rest period for a shift +6-10 hours in length. The time is counted as paid time
worked and you are required to remain on lululemon property for your rest breaks.
Your Manager will advise you of the designated break times.
□ Extended unpaid breaks with adjustments to shift start/end time may be authorized
but require Team Lead or Manager approval.
□ Meal breaks are 30-minutes and the time is unpaid and scheduled based upon hours of
work. If you work a shift length of 5+ hours, you are required to take a 30-minute
meal break. If you work a 10-hour shift, you will be given a second 30-minute meal
break.
□ In order to ensure our timekeeping is accurate, you are required to sign in and out of
the electronic timekeeping systems at the beginning and end of every shift, for meal
break(s), in/out of work functions, and any other off the clock activity. Systems
include, but are not limited to:
o LMS
o Etime
□ It is mandatory for all people based out of the Columbus DC to complete and sign off
on lululemon DC Attendance Policy.
