1 Walt Disney
Walt Disney was born on December the 5 of 1901 in Chicago and died on
December the 15 of 1966 in California. He had 4 brothers and sisters (Roy
Disney, Ruth Flora Disney, Herbert Arthur Disney and Raymond Arnold Disney).
He was a television producer and showman. He is famous for many things but
the most important one is because he invented Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.
His father was a carpenter, farmer, and building contractor, and his mother was
a school teacher. When Walt was little the family moved to a farm in Missouri.
There Walt began his school days and demonstrated he was good at drawing
and painting. Then the family moved to a different place and he began to study
cartooning. Walt took part in World War I. He was an ambulance driver for the
American Red Cross in France and Germany. He met an artist and together they
started a small studio of their own . They created advertising films and they also
did a series of animated cartoon sketches . In 1927 Disney and Iwerks
experimented with a new character, a mouse called Mickey. Mickey and his
girlfriend Minnie were so popular that they created new characters such as
Donald Duck, Pluto and Goofy. This is how Disney started this amazing
animation company. Some of the early movies were Dumbo, The 3 little pigs,
Cinderella. I remember that in kindergarten and in primary many of the teachers
told those stories to us. Dumbo is a sad story although it has a happy ending. I
cried every time I heard it and the wolf from the 3 little pigs is still scary. He has 2
daughters (Daine Disney and Sharon Disney)
2 Disney Parks

The concept for Disneyland began when Walt Disney was visiting a park with his
daughters. While watching them ride the merry-go-round, he came up with the
idea of a place where adults and their children could go and have fun together.
Millions of people from different countries have visited the park. Walt Disney
Studios had become well-known for its cartoon characters, including Mickey
Mouse, and animated films like Snow White. Disney started receiving letters from
fans who wanted to visit the studios; they wanted to do more than just go to the
movies, they wanted to be part of an experience, so he started dreaming up a
place for tourists to visit. He spoke of creating a place both children and adults
would enjoy, where their favorite characters and films could come to life. In 1950
Disney wanted to have a huge amusement park and in 1955 his dream came true
and the first park opened. He died in 1966 and a second Disney park opened in
1971.

Disney Anaheim is near Los Angeles, California. I went there in

April 2017. It is the first park of Disney company and it was built in the
presence of Walt Disney and also designed by himself.
Disney Orlando I went in October 2015. It is the second park of Disney
company and built in the honor of Walt Disney's memory. I went but I don't
remember much of it because I was a child.

Disney Paris Is in Francia. I went there in December 2017. We went there to

celebrate christmas. It was a surprise my parents gave to me and my sister.

Disney Tokyo Is in Japan. I have never been there.

Disney Hong Kong Is in China. My mother went in Abril 2015 with my

grandmother.

Disney also has water attractions. They are amazing. One is called Typhoon and
the other is Blizzard beach.

The story says that Once upon a time there was a beautiful tropical resort. One
day a typhoon came from the sea catching the ships in its path and tossing them
about like toy boats. The park is decorated with fishing gear and surfboards. In
this water park you can snorkel with sharks, go to water roller coasters, go on
inflatable rafts, and experience a huge wave. The story of Blizzard beach is that it
was created by a winter storm which dropped snow over the park. In this park
you can find water slides and lots of fun attractions and places to rest and eat.
3 Movies facts
Disney has a lot of characters. Some classic characters are Mickey Mouse, Snow
White, Cinderella, Bella, Donald Dunk but some can be considered as new such
as Mike Wasosky. Some character's stories are terrifying but Disney changed the
story for kids like "Cinderella" ,Snow White or Rapunzel. Rapunzel's real story is
this one: the real-life Rapunzel was Blanche Monnier and she was kidnapped by
her family for 25 years. They called her "Mademoiselle Monnier ''. She lived in
France and was abused by her own relatives. My favorite characters are Ariel
from the "Little Mermaid" and Mérida from "Brave" . I like them because they
are so impulsive and curious like me. They let themselves be carried away by love
for someone in the case of Ariel for Erik instead of Merida for her mother.

Merida from the movie Brave is the first Disney Princess to have a brother,
three of them in fact. Merida is the first Disney Princess who doesn't have a love
interest. The main relationship in the film is focused on Merida and her mother,
Queen Elinor.

Ariel from the movie The Little Mermaid is the cousin of Hercules because
Ariel's father, King Triton, is the son of Poseidon and Poseidon has a
brother who is Zeus and Zeus is Hercules's father.
Anna from Frozen is the first Disney princess to sing a duet with a villain, Prince
Hans. This happens when she still does not know his true intentions and falls into
the mistake of accepting to be his wife.

DUMBO is the shortest Disney Movie. We all love and remember the little
elephant with long ears called "Dumbo". This film only lasts 64 minutes and all
the other movies are longer than this one.

Tarzan The director of Frozen confessed that Anna and Elsa from Frozen are
Tarzan's sisters. This is because Anna and Elsa's parents traveled to the jungle,
the mother was pregnant and she gave birth to Tarzan before they died.

Not all princesses have siblings

In all the Disney stories, the only princesses who have siblings are Anna, Elsa,
Ariel, and Merida. As we can see, Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, Belle, among
other princesses, were only children.

Pocahontas is the only Disney princess that has tattoos.

Kissing the frog is not a good idea

More than 50 girls got Salmonella from kissing frogs because they saw the movie
and wanted to have a prince.

Aurora from the film “Sleeping Beauty” is the only one who only has 18
lines in her own movie because she spent much of the movie asleep until the
prince wakes her up with a kiss.
4 Disney attractions
Disney has a lot of fascinating attractions in all the Disney Parks. The most
terrifying attraction is "the haunted house." Guests enter the mansion through
the front gate and walk through a garden containing a pet cemetery and a
carriage led by an invisible horse. Once inside, the deep voice of the invisible
Ghost Host introduces himself and guests sit on a buggy. I heard that Disney
wants to modify and attraction called the "Jungle cruise" and would like to make
" The Princess and the Frog roller coaster" because guests don't visit that
attraction . The most visited Attraction is the Crush coaster because it is amusing
and fun . The most visited attraction is Magic Kingdom. The most famous
Attraction is Star Wars hyperspace mountain. My favorite attraction is the small
world because you can learn about culture and it is magical. If you ever go there,
there is a show you can´t miss: The fireworks and night entertainment. Children
love the Parades because there is music and all the Disney characters dance along
main street. The most dangerous attraction is the "Mission Space '' because
Guests fly in a motion simulator, on a training mission to Mars. This is the most
intense experience at Walt Disney World. The newest attraction is "Remy's
Ratatouille Adventure" . In fact , I went there and you had to sit in a trolley that
is a rat and you went touring the kitchen. The castle is magical because when you
go there you can meet the real princesses you see in movies and you can also take
pictures with them. The Star Wars attraction is fascinating because you can make
robots . The Toy Story attraction is incredible because there is a replica of the
cowboy Andy with his friends Buzz and Jessica. I remember the first time I
watched the movie. I thought that my toys may come to life at night and I was a
bit scared.

5 DISNEY TV

The first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word “Disney '' is
movies but Disney is more than that. Disney has 2 water parks, 6 theme parks in
Paris, USA, Tokyo, Shanghai and Hong Kong, Hotels inside and outside the
parks, it sells clothes and toys, cutlery, jewelry, books, stationery. Disney owns
and operates the ABC broadcast network; cable television networks such as
Disney Channel, ESPN, and National Geographic; publishing, merchandising,
music, and theater divisions; streaming services such as Disney+, Star+, ESPN+,
Hulu, Disney Parks, cruise lines, etc. Disney also has a Conservation Fund that
is focused on saving wildlife for future generations. They help other funds
working together to increase the populations of at-risk animals including
butterflies, coral reefs, cranes, elephants, gorillas, monkeys, and sea turtles.
Disney is working with conservation organizations, zoos, and aquariums across
California and Florida to restore butterfly habitats and reintroduce threatened
species back to the wild.Disney has been helping to monitor, study, and protect
sea turtles on the beaches outside Disney’s Vero Beach Resort for nearly two
decades. It also owns Disney plus that is an on-demand streaming service.
Subscribers can watch thousands of Disney movies and shows from all of the
studio's brands, including Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and
20th Century Studios. I can't believe that all these things started with a mouse.
