Outstanding Cambridge Teaching Award

2022-23
We are delighted to open applications for Cambridge International
Schools in Jordan to nominate their teachers for the Outstanding
Cambridge Teaching Award 2022-23.

This year, our award celebrates the many facets of the teaching
repertoire that a teacher demonstrates and builds. We would like to
acknowledge the powerful impact that teachers have on the lives of
learners academically and beyond.

The deadline for submission is 16 December 2023
Cambridge Teacher Standards

Criteria
• To be a Cambridge teacher for at least one full academic year
• To be nominated by the Head of the centre/ school and/or a fellow colleague
• Has not won the prize previously
• Has demonstrated teaching that aligns with two of the Cambridge Teacher
Standards. The evidence provided needs to relate to at least two Cambridge
Learner Attributes clearly.

Supporting documents required Cambridge Learner Attributes

1. Nomination statement (300 words) written by the Head of centre/


school and/or a fellow colleague highlighting why the teacher was selected and what kind of
impact their selected work had on the learners, other colleagues and the overall
school/community.
2. A range of evidence that has had a lasting impact on students, the school and/or
community, whether through a lesson, an activity, or a project that has made a positive and
meaningful impact on learners' learning. This may be in the form of video, audio,
photographs and/or written testimonials from learners, colleagues or parents.
3. A reflective statement by the nominee (500 words) that explains how the project and
activities shared link with the Cambridge Teacher Standards and their impact on Cambridge
Learner Attributes.
