DEVELOPMENT AND QA OF LRS ON THE GO!

With the aim to continuously harvest and review Learning Resources, specifically
Learning Activity Sheets (LAS) based on SLMs, SDO Baguio thru the Curriculum
Implementation Division conducted a Capability Building on the Development and
Quality Assurance of LRs on November 10-11 at Brentwood Apartelle.

Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Christopher C. Benigno emphasized


in his message, “Don't be a prisoner of your soul", wherein he encouraged personal
freedom and self-discovery. He also highlighted the importance of ensuring effective
learning outcomes and fostering a transformative methodology that empowers
educators to secure learning journeys for their learners.

Marina Tabangcura, EPS for Araling Panlipunan formally welcomed the


participants, 3-4 teachers from each grade level from Kinder to SHS in all subject areas.
This was followed by a comprehensive and timely discussion on Mental Wellness by
Medical Officer Dr. Mary Libeney Sito and updates on the LAS template by Francisco
Copsiyan, EPS for Math.

This activity was spearhead by the LRMS and all EPSs, with the support of the
CID Chief Juliet Sannad and the leadership of Schools Division Superintendent Soraya
T. Faculo. The finalization and submission of outputs will be on November 18 on the
same venue.
