Job description :

 To do assessment and to initiate immediate treatment.


 To take and note down history of patients.

 To monitor vitals of inpatients, inform the vitals parameters, diagnostic


investigation to concern senior doctor..

 Informing consultants about patient’s admission, abnormal reports & progress.

 To ensure that the orders are well carried out by Paramedical staff.

 To treat non-complicated OPD patients.

 To carry out all orders of the consultants efficiently without any delay.

 To implement emergency management at his / her discretion.

 To attend Code Blue.

 To complete and maintain electronic medical records of inpatient.

 To maintain death register.


 Recognize the symptoms and signs of various illnesses and injuries, order
appropriate tests, and prescribe treatments.

 Help answer patients’ questions and address their concerns before, during, and
after examination.

 Cultivate a safe, secure, and healthy environment for patients, colleagues, and
staff, and provide exceptional quality of care and service to patients and their
family members.

 Prescribe, administer, and dispense medication and supplements in accordance


with national and local regulations.

 Document all patient evaluations, treatments, medications, and transactions


according to organizational policies and procedures.

 Manage a team of medical assistants to ensure their compliance with all applicable
regulations.

 Examine and provide treatments to injuries and refer patients to other physicians
when needed (ophthalmologists, orthopedists, neurologists etc.).

 Providing pre and post operative care.

 Admit patients requiring special care, Surgery, followed by investigations and


treatment.

 Carry out specific procedures, e.g. wound care, dressing, bladder wash ,
catheterizations, ryles tube insertions and specialist investigations.

 Preparing discharge summaries for day care and inpatients.


 To obtain all kind of consents with the direction of the consultants.

 To coordinate transfusion of blood and blood products.

 Perform daily management and dressing for tracheostomy tubes.
