Lazy Lasagna - Alison Holst

METHOD

• STEP 1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
(normal bake). Spray or butter a
large oven ware dish.

• STEP 2
In a large bowl combine all the
ingredients for the lasagna mixture.
Mix well.

• STEP 3
INGREDIENTS Ladle 1/3 meat mixture into the
bottom of the dish and place a
500g mince layer of lasagna sheets over the
2 cloves of garlic, chopped top.
425g can tomato puree
• STEP 4
2 Tb tomato paste (e.g. tomato concentrate)
Sprinkle 1 cup of grated cheese on
1 tsp dried oregano top. Layer another 1/3 of the meat
1 tsp dried basil mixture, then lasagne sheets, then
1 sachet of tomato soup (e.g. Maggi tomato the other 1 cup of grated cheese.
soup – the dried stuff)
1 tsp beef stock granules dissolved in 1 1/2 c • STEP 5
hot water Place the remaining meat mixture
over the top.
2 c grated tasty cheese
1/2 packet lasagna sheets
• STEP 6
Bake in the oven for 50 minutes.

CHEESY TOPPING • STEP 7


Combine the cheesy topping in a
1 egg bowl and mix well. Remove the foil
2 tsp cornflour from the cooked lasagna and pour
3/4 c milk over the topping, sprinkle paprika
1 c grated tasty cheese over the top, then bake for a
1/2 tsp paprika further 10 minutes or until golden.
Remove from oven and leave to
stand for 10 minutes to ‘settle’
before serving.
