IV. Procedure:

Preliminary Activity:

A. Review: Reviewing previous lesson. Identify the animals with their body movement. Choose the
answer from the box below.The teacher will present a video of plants that grow in lan and water

B. Motivation :

The teacher will take the pupils around the school grounds and make them list /
name and draw plants they see. One plant per pupil is enough.Consolidate or group the names
/drawings into those that grow on land and those that grow on water. Prepare a a table on a manila
paper similar to the one given below

C. Lesson Proper

 Terrestrial Plants - we call plants that grow on soil


 Some terrestrial plants are small , others are big .There are plants with big trunks while others
have soft stem..They grow in different places.There are plants that grow directly on soil while
others grow on rocks
 The teacher will give more pictures to the pupils.
 The teacher will present short video clips .

D. Application:

Group work: Minute to win it . The teacher will devide the class into 3 groups. The teacher will show
a different terrestrial plants and let the pupils identify the name of the plants. The teacher will give
the rubrics.
E. Generalization:

There are different plants with specialized structures.

F. Evaluation:

The teacher will conduct an oral recitation that will serve as their assessment.

V. Assignment :

Bring potted plants.
