Sensitivity Analysis QAM

This sensitivity report summarizes the results of a sensitivity analysis conducted on a spreadsheet optimization model with decision variables S and D. The report shows that: - S has an allowable increase of 3.5 units and decrease of 3.7 units before impacting the optimal solution. D has an allowable increase of 5.285714286 and decrease of 2.333333333. - The constraints have small or zero shadow prices, indicating the optimal solution is not sensitive to small changes in the right-hand sides of those constraints. - Analyzing the sensitivity report is more efficient than individually changing coefficients to find alternative optimal solutions. The sensitivity analysis identifies how sensitive the optimal solution is to changes in the model

upper limit of S is (10+3.5) and
lower limit is (10-3.7) which wont
affect the optimum values of the
decision variables, similarly for D

For zthe constraints, we need to anlayse the

constraint table
Final value the value given in the question
SHADOW PRICE will tell you that if you increase 1
unit then how will it impact the profit
for the zero values in the shadow price it will not
impact the profit as yhere is already unused time

Dv (Decision Variables) 540 252 MAX 10S + 9D

MAX 10S + 9D

subject to (s.t) {put it in solver}

7/10S + 1D <= 630
1/2S + 5/6D <= 600
1S + 3/3D <= 708
1/10S + 1/4D <= 135 in objective function we have
changed the coeeficient of S to 13
i.e. we have increased the profi of S
to 13 and then we have used solver
to look for the DV we found that it is
similar
then we have changed the
coeeficient to 14 and then observed
that the DV have changed to S=708,
D=0
now to check for ALTERNATIVE
SOLUTION we have put the 14 and
the prvious DV= 540,252 in the
equation 14*S+9*D and found that
profit or objective function is
different therefore it is not a
alternate solution
Checking each one in this way is not
easy so for that while usimg solver
when the after pressing solve the
next dialog box appears in that box
select the sensitivity option you will
get the sensitivity report
