Final Period

The new things I have learned in this period are Human Capital Management (HCM) organizational
structure is critical to ensuring effective management and development of an organization's most valuable
asset - its people. HCM refers to an organization's strategic approach to managing its employees, focusing
on their skills, knowledge, and capabilities to drive organizational success. In this reflection, what amazed
me most was the hierarchical structure that is commonly used in HCM organizations. The system is defined
by a clear chain of command, with employees reporting to their immediate superiors and decisions flowing
down to lower-level employees from top management. This structure allows for effective communication,
decision-making, and a clear line of accountability. It also had the Three parts where Enterprise Structure,
Personnel Structure, and organizational plan come in. In the next lesson, we learned that HCM Master
Data, which includes employee information such as personal details, employment history, qualifications,
skills, and training records, is critical for managing human resources in an organization. It assists
organizations in making informed workforce planning, talent acquisition, and performance management
decisions. It is intriguing for me that HR managers can identify suitable candidates for job openings and
ensure a match between required skills and available skills by maintaining accurate information.
Organizations can also track employees' training records with HCM Master Data, ensuring they have the
necessary knowledge and skills for their job responsibilities. Take note also that for effective human
resource management, HCM processes are the systematic procedures that are followed. To summarize,
HCM Master Data and HCM processes are essential components of effective human resource
management. Organizations can make informed decisions and optimize their workforce by maintaining
accurate and comprehensive employee data. Furthermore, streamlining recruitment, onboarding, and
performance management processes ensures that employees are effectively managed throughout their
employment journey. The realizations I had while learning these lessons were how to apply them to every
lesson and understand more about the structure of the SAP. It was not easy, and it will take time to see
how you can visualize them and how they work individually. It improved myself esteem by letting me know
that I understood what the lessons were all about and how they could help me in my daily activities, such
as the tasks that were assigned to us every day. I had improved myself so much that I now know that I can
do the tasks effectively and efficiently, unlike before. This truly gave me satisfaction for myself and also for
the course that I had taken.
