ABANDON SHIP RELEASE TRACING PAINTER AND BOAT HOOK

M.O.B IN THE BRIDGE, (HELMSMAN)

PREPARE SAWDUST, COTTON RAGS, IN CHARGE OF CLEANING PARTY, IN CHARGE IN THE SPOT FOR
POLLUTION CLEANING OIL.,

GENERAL ALARM:
Seven (7) Poster 32 Rev. 0 Issued/Approved by: DPA/GM Page 1 of 2 MS - M6 short blasts
(or more) and one (1) long blast on ship's whistle and continuous sounding of ship's general ALARM. (Manning of abandon ship's stations). When
General Alarm sounds it does not necessarily mean to abandon ship's stations. Proceed immediately to lifeboat stations with life-jackets.

FIRE SIGNALS:
Groups of rapid rings for a period of 10 seconds on ship's bell and the same on ship's general alarm (electric). Proceed immediately to Fire
Stations with life-jackets.

MAN OVERBOARD:
Three long rings on general alarm bells. Proceed immediately to Fire Stations with life-jackets.

Immediately hail and pass to the bridge "MAN OVERBOARD'

ABANDON SHIP:
Only after the Master's order "ABANDON SHIP".

DISMISSAL (OF DRILL):


Three (3) short blasts on ship's whistle or three (3) short rings on the general alarm balls

SIGNAL OF HANDLING LIFE BOATS:


a) COMMENCING LOWERING: One (1) short blast on whistle
