I. INTRODUCTION:

A software park, also known as an I.T. park, is a purpose‐built complex housing a


collection of companies or a single organization, catering to the diverse
requirementsof various business entities and multinational corporations.
Information Technology (IT) is a dynamic and expansive domain that encompasses
the integration of computers, software, networks, and diverse technologies to
efficiently handle, manipulate, store, and exchange information across various
platforms.
Chennai, among the five major cities including Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi,
and Mumbai, stands out as a significant IT hub in India, contributing to 90% of
the IT sector exports. The project is located in sipcot it park siruseri .
TCS, Tata Consultancy Services is in Siruseri , where a expansion for new tech park
has been proposed in the nearby plot.

II. OBJECTIVE:
 To design an expansion of the tcs information park in siruseri that maximizes
thejob opportunites.
 Exploring innovative spatial configurations and circulation patterns to
optimizeuser flow.
 To create a unconventional office space for the employees to work in their
owncomfort.
 Design a workspace that seamlessly blends unconventional and conventional
officeenvironments, ensuring that employees can work comfortably in an
inclusive setting, free from constraints
NEED FOR PROJECT:

 Skilled Workforce: Chennai boasts a pool of talented and skilled IT


professionals, including engineers, programmers, data analysts, and designers.
The availability of a highly educated work force makes Chennai an attractive
location for IT companiesto set up offices and tap into this talent pool .In
recent years the graduate from computer is expanding in rocket scale.

 Global Recognition: Chennai's reputation as an IT destination has grown


internationally. The presence of established IT offices and the city's
technological advancements attract global attention ,making it an appealing
location for foreigncompanies looking to expand their presence in India.

 Infrastructure Development and Economic Growth : The establishment of IT


parkscontributes to the overall infrastructure development of the city.
Improved transportation networks, connectivity, and other necessary facilities
are often developed in and around IT park areas to support the increasing
workforce and business activities. The IT industry in Chennai has been a
significant contributor to the city's economic growth. IT parks attract
substantial investments and generate revenue for the government through
taxes and other business‐related transactions.

 Infrastructure and Connectivity: Chennai offers well‐developed


infrastructure, including modern office spaces, robust communication
networks, and reliable transportation facilities. This infrastructure provides a
conducive environment forIT companies to establish their offices and
operate smoothly.

Site Description.

TCS Siruseri New Tech Park ‐ SEZ is located at survey number 87/1, 87/2, 87/3,
88,89, 91Pt, 91/22 & 91/23 and Plot no: H‐11/1B, H‐11/1C & H‐11/2 of Egattur Village,
Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District, Tamil Nadu. The site co‐ordinates are
12°49'46.42"N Latitude and 80°13'41.60"E Longitude.
Site Area : 18.9 Acres (76,648.87 Sqm)
