Web Project 6 Website Design with Weebly or Wix

1. Introduction:

Weebly has personal web site and business website options when we sign up. Then weebly is asking to select a
theme. When we select the theme, we can start to edit the website. Firstly we should select our domain name.
About the domain name, Weebly is offering some alternatives for users. There is free Weebly related domain
name in the system. You can publish your website easily.

Wix loging is working with Google email password system. This process was easy. Then Wix offers Ai help set a
website. But after that Wix directed me to a dashboard. Wix asked me to enter the domain address. But it was not
offering a free domain for website in first time. Then I could find that I can publish website by using my email
name free. But it takes time to find this option. In weebly I solved this problem easily. Ai system helps to set a
website. But the created website was not a website that I want desired.

2. Features and Functionality:

Weebly user panel looks like very easy to set a web site. Title, Test, Image, Gallery, slide show, Map, button,
Embed Code, and many options are located rights side of editor. Build, pages, Theme, Apps, settings options are
located up part of editor.

In Wix, there are add element, add section, site pages and menu, site design, Wix app market, my business,
media, CMS, Merketing& SEO sections. Wix user panel looks more complex than weebly. There are more
components to understand for first users.

In Weebly, we can make our own website by using Build section in editor. Page section is used to add new pages
to website. Theme section is used to change the website color and theme. Apps section can be used to add some
apps to our website. There many free and premium plan Apps in Apps section.

In Wix, also we can add page, add media and change template. But Weebly is more user friendly for the users who
started to learn web design.

In Weebly, we can find the general setting for the website by using setting section. There are settings about the
SEO (Search Engine Optimization), Editors, Members, My apps, blog.

In Wix, we can also change settings by using Settings button on the top.

Also there is a help section for Weebly support website. In Weebly support website, there are many articles that
are explaining how to a website and related questions.

In Wix, there are many help opportunities in help section like help desk, Video lessons, Editor Tour, etc.
