Unicef PWA Application Guide

PWA Ver. 2.0

Ver. 1.0

In this guide we will look at the main functionalities that the Unicef PWA offers.

• Active VARs

The Active VARs page is the first page found after logging in, this page
can also be accessed by clicking on the Unicef logo (top left corner) or
by clicking on the ACTIVE button in the navigation bar.

This page displays the VARs that the logged in user can edit, submit or refer
back to.

• Pending VARs

The Pending VARs page can be accessed by clicking on the Pending button in
the Navbar.

This page displays the VARs that the logged in user has already edited and submitted.
• Historic VARs

The Historic VARs page can be accessed by clicking on the HISTORY button in
the navbar.

This page displays the VARs that have already been archived, from this page you can also
download the Excel files containing a VAR's data.

• Settings

The Settings tab can be accessed by clicking on the three dots at the
top right of the page, once clicked there are four options: Profile,
Help, Application Guide (this guide) and Logout.

The Profile page allows the connected user to change their

password or language.

The Help page provides the information needed to access additional help.
• Active VARs Management

An Active VAR's page is made up of collapsible tabs containing different types of data, which can
only be modified by the inspector after clicking on the Edit button at the top or bottom of the
page.

Once the Edit button is clicked most of the fields are going to become editable and the
inspector must check them before clicking the Submit button at the bottom of the page.

The Supervisor can now review the submitted VARs, but instead of the Submit button they will
see two new buttons, Unapprove and Approve, which can either send the VAR back to the
Inspector or send it to an Admin for final review.
VARs Lifecycle (PWA prospective)

Once the VAR has been activated, either via the batch procedure or manually by the AdminSD, it will appear
in the "Active VARs" where the user can review it.

Once the VAR has been inspected and submitted, the Supervisor can then review the questionnaire and
decide whether to approve it or return it to the Inspector.

If the VAR is approved without any issues, it goes directly to the archive, otherwise it is sent to the
AdminSD, who can either send it back to the Supervisor or archive it, closing the cycle.
