Course Rationale: The course skills focus on who people are, as opposed to what they are trained in. These
skills serve to represent learners’ approach to life and work. The course develops interpersonal
skills hardwired to an individual's personality, and such skills characterize how we interact with other people
in the workplace. These skills are important because they enable students to adjust to the frustrations and
challenges they will encounter in their adult life, as well as the demands of work. Mastering soft
skills help students learn, live and work better.
Course Assessment Method: The students will be given five assignments each for 10 marks. At the end of
the course, there will be a written test of 25 marks and a viva voce of 25 marks. All these assessments will be
for a total of 100 marks. Based on the marks obtained, they will be awarded with a grade similar to other
credit courses. Though it is an audit course, obtaining passing grade is essential.
