FRM Course Syl Lab Us Ip Download

This document outlines the course ECE47D: Microprocessor. The course aims to discuss the architecture and instruction set of the Intel 8085 microprocessor, describe program development tools and assembly language programming. It also aims to explain how peripherals and memories are interfaced with microprocessors. The course contains 6 units that cover the evolution of microprocessors and the 8085 architecture, memory and I/O interfacing, instruction cycles, the 8085 instruction set, interrupts, data transfer techniques, interfacing peripheral devices, and the 8086 microprocessor architecture and instruction set. Students will apply addressing modes, understand subroutines, and develop assembly language programs for applications.
