Large Ball Pattern Final

This document provides a pattern for making a large foam ball from 12 identical pieces. The pattern is spread across 4 pages which should be printed at actual size and taped together. Each piece is cut from 10mm thick EVA foam and has alignment markings to ensure proper positioning when gluing the pieces together. The recommended assembly method is to start by gluing 3 pieces to form a quarter of the ball, then joining 2 quarters and finally the 2 halves. Additional details are provided on the materials and tools used, as well as contact information for questions.

Simple Foam Ball PAttern
This is just a small pattern that you can use to make a large foam ball. I used it to make my giant
Christmas bobble head. There is just one piece which you can trace 12 times and then glue the
pieces together, lining up the alignment markings. My preferred sequence is to glue three pieces
together starting at the point, creating a quarter of a ball. I then glue two quarters together and then
the two halves to complete the ball.

I used 4, 10mm thick EVA foam mats, cutting three pieces from each.
I then used hot glue to glue them all together.
You can see the video of how I made the Christmas ornament here.

This is not a complete set of instructions, just thought I would share the pattern with those who
want it.
Have fun making!
