Container Covers by SteelMaster Buildings:

SteelMaster Buildings developed the unique container cover roofing system to create a new efficient,
budget friendly storage option.

We worked with clients from around the globe, who experimented with the idea of using shipping
containers as the structural base of a storage building. SteelMaster brought the concept to life by
designing a prefabricated steel roof that connects to the edges of the shipping containers.

Now, our container roof system kits are one of our most popular products and have been used for
storage, onsite heavy equipment cover, workshops and pretty much any use to protect people and
materials.

Our container covers are made from industrial-strength, commercial-grade steel panels in a minimum of
22 gauge thickness. The panels are backed by a 40 year warranty and coated with a top of the line
anti-corrosion agent, Galvalume Plus.

What options do I have for my container cover building?

Container cover buildings are defined by two design factors: placement of containers and total building
footprint. Depending on your application and future plans for the space, either option grants you certain
advantages. No matter the job site, our shipping container roof structures can be tailored to fit virtually
any specifications. They can be open-ended or enclosed and the size can be customized to the width
between the two containers and height requirements of the project.

Connection Options

SteelMaster container covers are designed to mount on either the inner or outer edges of the
shipping containers. No matter what type of connection you choose, your SteelMaster
container cover system will be custom-made to fit the dimensions of your conex boxes and your
desired span between them.

Inside Connection: This type of configuration only covers the space between the shipping containers and
not the shipping containers themselves. It is ideal for creating covered workspace between two units.

Outside Connection: A roofing system that connects on the outer edges of the shipping containers,
covering the containers and the space between them. It is ideal for enclosing the entire space and
potentially adding front and back walls to create a total building solution.
