AFICO Acoustical Ceiling Panels have a built-in
thermal resistance (R-Value) of R=0.06m2.°K/W, for
the standard 72 kg/m3 density and 20mm thick
type. AFICO Acoustical Ceiling Panels can also be
back loaded with Blanket Insulation to provide an
additional R-value of up to 6.70m2.°K/W (See Maxi-
mum Back loading).

Maintenance
No maintenance is required. AFICO Acoustical
Ceiling Panels products have a high resistance
to accidental damage from knocks and handling
during installation and maintenance. Dimensionally
stable under varying conditions of temperature and
humidity, rot proof, odorless, non-hygroscopic and
will not sustain vermin or fungus due to its inorganic
and mineral compositions.
The product will maintain its thermal properties
throughout the lifetime of the construction and will
not age. AFICO fiberglass is non-toxic and presents
no hazard to health.
