outlined in the rubrics provided by the faculty. Please refer to notes on OBE available in the
Faculty’s website.

Each student is required to find out an article regarding any current issues in finance. The
article should be dated current year (2019 and 2020) and write a report on a topic of their
choice that receive wide media coverage in recent weeks. Please feel free to come up with
your own topic. If you are unsure whether a particular topic is “related” or “appropriate”,
please consult the lecturer.

The intentions of this assignment are for students to read, survey, research and write a paper
independently on a topic of their interest. In writing this paper, it is hoped that students
would discover relevant literature related to financial globally. This is part of the process of
independent learning and aims to further develop lifelong learning competencies. Student
also need to discuss on roles and responsibilities of Individuals, Corporations and
Governments on Ethics.

The deadline for submission is on week 5 .

The objective of this assignment is to develop the skills to review the literature and determine
the gap or issue pertaining to the study. The requirements for reviewing of your chosen
articles on current finance issues and ethics are as follows:

and appendices, if any. Plagiarism and other forms of academic dishonesty will not be
tolerated and will be penalized accordingly. Please cite all sources of information and
