This assignment contains 2 tasks; Task 1 and Task 2. Answer all the questions given.

 80 marks for correct answers and good report

a) Please establish the IT project from the given Table 1 by constructing a Gantt Chart
using the Microsoft Project. Refer to the below changes which are only applied for Gantt
Chart and not for Q1 b).
 For the activity code: G, change the predecessor to B(FS3)
 For the activity code: H, change the predecessor to G only

b) Draw a network/ AON diagram based on the given Table 1

i. Develop a cost-benefit analysis table based on the table above. (Use 2 decimal
places in all calculations and all steps must show clearly.)

ii. Calculate the Return on Investment (ROI) of this information system project.

iii. Compute payback period for this project

iv. Use the Present Value Factors (based on discount rate 13% p.a.) to analyse the Net
Present Value (NPV) of the new information system.

v. Analyze the project based on the calculated payback period and ROI

b) Earned Value Management (EVM) (25 Marks)

i. Estimate the project cost and durations for your proposed project by filling the
Table 3 as below (refer to the example and you are not allowed to use the same
figures/ number as example (Project IT). (Hint: give/ assume any relevant and
logical amount and duration for your proposed project).
