About UGC-HRDC, JNTUH:

The UGC-Human Resource Development Centre (formerly known as UGC-Academic Staff
College), Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, was established in the year
2000 and sponsored by University Grants Commission, New Delhi. The UGC-Human Resource
Development Centre organizes Orientation Programmes, Refresher Courses, Short Term
Courses and Workshops on thrust areas for in-service teachers and also for newly appointed
teaching faculty on a regular basis, to update the knowledge and skills in their respective fields.

Major Course Contents:

 AI / Soft Computing Techniques in Electrical Engineering.
 FLC/ANN Types and Applications.
 Optimal Operation of Power Systems/Stability.
 Computation of electrical fields in cables.
 Control of converters/Drives using Lab view/FPGA.
 Machine/Deep learning methods.

Eligibility:
 Faculty from all branches of Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Registration Fee Particulars:
 The Registration fee for the course is Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only) to be paid
through online payment mode.
Certificate will be issued to the participants on successful completion of the course.

Selection will be done based on first-come-first-serve basis to a maximum number of 60. The list of selected

Course duration : 05th to 20th October 2020
Course Timings : 10.00 AM to 1.15 PM &

Computing Techniques- Electrical Engineering” scheduled from 05-10-2020 to 20-10-2020, being
organized by UGC-Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC), JNTUH, Hyderabad.
