00.00 DSV - One Strong Worldwide Brand

DSV needs to have a more distinctive identity in the public mind. At the same time, we
want to point out the position of DSV as the large, fully comprehensive transport and
logistics company capable of handling any task in an efficient and professional manner.

To our target audience, our image is a reflection of our identity, messages and actions.
Therefore, the identity must remain consistent; its integrity must never be compromised
by any unauthorised change of any aspect of our logo.

DSV has invested human and capital resources as well as great efforts in creating its
corporate identity. The official logo is a crucial element to that identity. When used correctly
and consistently, it will strengthen and enhance the image that we are trying to convey.
When used incorrectly, it will undermine our integrity and create a negative impact on
readers and viewers. Even a tiny modification or variation will create the wrong perception.

By following the standards for corporate identity set out in this manual, each of you will
help to protect and unify the image of DSV, one of the world’s biggest transport and
logistics companies.

The simplicity of the new DSV logo is what makes it stand out.

Our logo should always be shown as clear as possible and not be overwhelmed
by other visual elements.

The 1-colour (Pantone) logo [A]

is the preferred and primary logo.

 01.02 Minimum Space around Logo

Here you will find guidelines for using the DSV logo. The logo should always be placed
in a clear and distinct position. There should always be a logo on all brochure covers and
advertisements, both in printed and electronic formats. To create a powerful image, there
should be a margin of space left clear around the logo.

Correct and consistent use of the DSV identity will establish and maintain
the strength of the DSV brand. The logo should never be changed. The following
examples show how not to use the logo.

as far as possible to ensure identical colour in all media.

In all communication materials produced internally, we use the widely available font Arial.
This should be used in electronic material such as e-mails, PowerPoint, Word and all other
MS Office documents.

The grid system begins by dividing the page into 40 units on the vertical and horizontal side.
Corner margins are 1 unit and 2 units on double-sided formats. The grid system is used to

 07.03 Paper Quality

This manual introduces a new look which is classic yet modern and stylish at the same time.
To achieve the best results with this look it is important that all printed material uses the
recommended paper quality and gram weight. If a brochure is printed on too low a gram
weight it will look and feel cheap. If it is printed on a too high a gram weight it can be difficult
to turn the page. Below you can see the recommended paper weights for the different types
of communication materials. Remember you can always ask the printer for a paper sample
before printing.

As mentioned throughout the Manual, it is recommended that you use paper quality
MultiDesign White Original. However, if this is unavailable paper of a similar quality
and colour can be used instead.
