The person whose name appears below is applying for admission to the Nigerian Law School for a
course of professional training with a view of his being called to the Nigerian Bar and subsequently
enrolled at the Supreme Court of Nigeria as a legal practitioner on the successful completion of the
course. A frank and full statement of your views about him/her will help the Council to decide
whether the applicant has necessary strength of character and probity which is required of people
who are to be admitted into the Legal profession.

5. What can you tell us about the applicant’s sense of (a) honesty and (b)

7. To the best of your knowledge has the applicant ever been tried and or
convicted of any offence? Furnish details.

8. (a) (i) Was there any allegation of Examination Malpractice or any form of
dishonesty against the applicant during his/her career in the university?
(ii) If so, please give the particulars and the punishment imposed if any.

(b) (i) Has the applicant ever been rusticated from your or any university on any
ground?
