Welcome to your first industry brief set by legendary
studio, Framestore. Famed for their Oscar winning VFX,
post production and animations, you’ll work solo on a
pitch deck for an HD title sequence, then execute your
styleframes in teams. Learn what it takes to sell your
idea and what collaboration looks like at the highest
level.

Block 5 – The Director’s brief


Meet former Motion Design Director at ETC, George Dyson.
In this brief, you won’t produce just one piece of motion,

but an entire ten day Instagram campaign. Learn to not wee
only strategise content, but create efficiently and at scale.

Block 6 – Net-A-Porter UX brief week

Online fashion heavyweight YOOX Net-A-Porter will set
a powerhouse of a brief - a marriage of the two hottest
skills, UX and Motion Design. You’ll create an
onboarding animation for their new app, guiding the
user on how to navigate the platform whilst
championing YNAP’s luxurious and slick brand spirit.

Block 7 – Mainframe X Glug brief week

Two giants come together for your final challenge.
Acclaimed studio Mainframe will get you developing
content for the “Protest by Design” series. This is a
campaign advocated by creative events organisation,
Glug. As it’s a live brief, the exact topic will be
determined closer to the event!

Is it for me?
If you’re comfortable using PhotoShop,
InDesign and Illustrator, but have never
opened up After Effects or Cinema 4D, you
can do this course.

Or, if you’re self-taught in AE or C4D using


YouTube, but you’re craving that level of
professionalism and confidence you can’t get
off the internet, this course is your jam.

If you’re working or studying, don’t worry, you


can fit Motion Design Professional around your
schedule. We know how frustrating it is,
scouring the web for tutorials on the job,
wondering half the time if you’re on the right
track.

Save yourself the headache and just learn the


good stuff, in only 8-10 hours a week.
What do I need?
You’ll need to provide your own hardware
and software licenses for PhotoShop,
