QABA Supervision Log

ABAT/QASP-S: Required to meet with his or her supervisor for 5% of the time they provide behavior analytic services every
3-month period.
QBA: The QBA requires 1,500 hours of fieldwork with 5% supervision (75 hours). 900 hours must be in a supervisory role or program
development. Up to 600 hours may be 1:1 direct care, but direct care hours are not necessary for the 1,500 hours.
QASP-S: For the first 1000 hours of fieldwork, the QASP-S is required to meet with his or her supervisor for 5% of the time
they provide behavior analytic services every 3-month period. After certification, a rate of 2% minimum is required upon
supervisor discretion. Supervision may be performed remotely using a QABA-compliant video conferencing program; however,
one contact must be one-to-one in-person for a minimum of 1 hour every month.
QBA CANDIDATE: Required to meet with a supervisor for 5% of their initial 1500 hours of fieldwork providing behavior analytic
services. Once certified, continued supervision is not required as the QBA is an independent practitioner.
