Dear Lesley, Vinh
How have you been lately? I am doing well. I hope that you are doing well. It
has been three months since the last time we met each other. Hence; I miss the
quality time we spent together. As far as you are concerned about your journey
to my dwelling place. I am writing to inform you that my residence destination is
An Giang.
I hope you will pay a special visit to my hometown one more time if you have
idle hours.
Best wishes,

Dear Lesley, Diệp
Thảo
I am very happy to read your letter. I am honored to welcome you to my
hometown.
Vinh Long, where I was born, is well-known for its excellent fruits. I believe
this place will make it impossible for you to forget. I believe that if you come
here, you should go to An Binh island/islet, and that you should go in the
morning. When you visit here, you will have a chance to try a variety of fruits
such as oranges, longans, mangosteen, and so on. Above all, you will be able to
harvest them yourself and enjoy them in the garden, making you feel at ease and
immersed in the cool nature's atmosphere. I believe you should go between April
and June to properly experience it. Also, remember to pack long-sleeved shirts,
caps, and masks to protect yourself from the sun and insects, and if you are
allergic to insects, you should bring prophylactic treatment.
I hope my advice can be helpful for your forthcoming vacation. And please
do not hesitate to contact me if there are any problems along the way.

1 Hi Lesley, NguyễN
Great to hear from you! Things are going well here. I'm excited that you'll be Nam
visiting my hometown, Can Tho city, next month. Phương
Regarding the weather, it's typically mild and pleasant this time of year. I would
recommend bringing some light layers as the temperature can vary throughout
the day. It's always a good idea to pack a light jacket or sweater for cooler
evenings.
As for things to do and places to visit, there are plenty of options. You can
explore the historic places, the city center with its charming architecture and
visit the local museums to learn about our rich cultural heritage. Don't miss the
beautiful parks and gardens for a leisurely stroll. We also have some great local
cafes and restaurants where you can indulge in delicious local cuisine.
I can provide you with more specific recommendations once you finalize your
travel dates. Let me know if you need any more information or assistance in
planning your trip.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Hi Hiroshi, Minh
Quang
I hope you're doing well! It's great to hear that you're starting to learn English,
and I'd be happy to share some advice based on my own experiences.
For daily practice, it's crucial to create a routine. I recommend setting aside some
time each day for various language skills. For listening, you can watch English
movies, TV shows, and listen to podcasts or music. You should try to understand
the context and learn new words from context. With speaking, I strongly
recommend finding a language exchange partner or join language meetup groups
where you can converse in English, even if you make mistakes. Reading is very
hard to master, you could start with simple books and gradually move to more
complex materials. Reading newspapers or online articles in English can also
help improve vocabulary. Lastly, I believe keep a journal in English, write
emails, or even start a blog to improve your writing. This will improve your
writing skills and allow you to receive feedback.
Remember, consistency is key, so I feel that you should stay motivated and
enjoy the journey of learning a new language!
Best regards,
Tom

Hi, Hiroshi Thang
I’m sorry that I couldn’t respond to your email sooner because I immersed
myself in studying to prepare for the middle exam. In this letter, I’m glad to
share with you about my experimence in improving English.
If my memory serves me right, the first place where I took the course was at the
Foreign language center of Can Tho University when I was an elementary
student. Afterwards, I have been studying at Gia Viet foreign language center
until now.
As for practice, I advise you to practice it every day with enthusiasm. In terms of
productive skills, including speaking and writing, I think you should practice
with someone who is as passionate about English as you are, or if you do it with
a native speaker I think it will be better because they will help you correct your
mistakes accurately. I recommend Cambly application to you as you can practice
speaking English with natives online. Actually, Cambly is an online platform
that pairs native speakers from the United States, Canada, UK, and
Australia with students around the world. In term of receptive skills, the best
method I have applied is to try to listen and read every day. In terms of reading
skill, it is very difficult to learn because it is all letters, so list the new
vocabulary in the reading text then memorize them carefully. As for listiening, I
encourage you to use sites like BBC news or TED Ed to improve your listening
skill, gradually you will be able to understand every sentence that native
speakers say.
3 Dear Hiroshi,
Thank you for writing to me. I'd be happy to share some advice on how to
improve English. I started learning English when I was 8 years old at primary
school. When I first started learning English, I took part in an English course at
the center. It provided a foundation for me. Then, I have been engaging in self-
study English at home and using different methods for each skill.
Best wishes,
The first time I took a course was at the foreign language center of Can Tho
University when I was in 7th grade. At that time, my English was very bad, and I
have to say that at that time I had no concept of foreign languages. My English
level got better when I reached high school.
I have a lot of trouble learning vocabulary when learning English. Being a very
forgetful person, I find it challenging to learn new words. I have a lot of
vocabulary to memorize.
Those are some of the ways that I have applied to learning English. I hope that
they will be useful to you, at least in part.
Huy
I think you should make learning fun watch a few episodes of your favourite
English-language show. Try changing the language settings on your phone,
computer or any other equipment you use to English. Get together with friends
who are also learning English and challenge yourselves to only speak in English
when you meet up. Listening to a recording of your own voice by training
yourself to notice and correct mistakes, you'll improve your accuracy too.
The difficulties when learning English are very diverse, such as pronunciation
and grammar. Don't be discouraged but try to overcome it, the best way to
overcome is to practice as much as you can while fully immersing yourself in an
environment that is full of like-minded English speakers
Best regards,
Vy.
3 Hi Hiroshi, Lê Huỳnh
I am very happy to receive your letter. I'm also surprised that you know I take Quí Toàn
English courses. Now I will write this letter to answer you about your asking me
for advice when learning English or how to improve the level of some listening,
reading, writing skills, etc. But I also hope that this letter will reach you at the
best time.
First of all, learning English takes a lot of time to become fluent. So I
recommend you use some of your free time during the day to read books or
listen to programs in English. Beside, if you want to improve your English skill
fast i think you shoud take some English course. In these day, it not too hard to
find, even if you are busy you can take some online course as well. Lastly,
learning English is not hard as you thought, it just take you some time to at the
begining to get familiar with some basic but if you spend some of times to learn
you will see it is very interesting to learn about.
And now, i should go back to my study so i will end my letter here. I am eager to
hear about your English study and send my regard to your family
Best regard,
It was so hard to boost your English and it took so much time. I need to spend
about 3 or 4 hours per day practicing when learning it. Some websites and
channels I used to use as learning resources such as Cambridge to search for a
new word when I do not know what it means, Listening time channel when I
want to enhance my English listening skill. I also often download some
documents to practice my reading and wiriting skills. Finally, about the speaking
skill, I think it would be better if you could talk and share with your friend.
Becasue when I practiced it in the realiaty, I realized that my speaking skill
became more better.
Having some troubles I usually met when I learnt English that I could not hear
clearly about what the video said, they spoke so fast. Sometimes I encountered
some strange words when I did a reading test and I felt so horrible.
In conclusion, I think the best way to practice English is that you should do it
and practice regularly and it also depends on your effor when you study it.

Dear Hiroshi, Thư
I have been studying English for 10 years, and I can give you some advice on
how to improve English. Fristly, I think you should watch foreign TV and
movies are a fun wa
y to help you practice your listening. For example, you can watch Twightlight,
Harry Porter,... This movie so excited and it may be help you improve your
speaking and listening skills. Secondly, you can write diary in English eveyday.
Its help you improve your writing skill, besides it help you memorize new
vocabulary. Finally, you can talk English with your friend on social media. For
instance, you can connect with foreign friend and exchange language everyday.
This is help you improve your speaking and learn new vocabulary more. I did

Dear Peggy, An Thịnh
I have received your message. Nice to meet you. If you want to learn more about
Can Tho University, I will be happy to answer.
Thank you for asking about my health, I'm fine. I am a student at Can Tho
University. My major is Biotechnology. I love my university because it is
convenient for travel, a school full equipped, clean and airy environment. And
the last after graduating, I will probably look for a job to help my family.
That's all I can tell you, I hope these will be useful to you.
Love
Your Friends
I still study at Can Tho university and International Business was my major.
With this major, you need to spend 4 years to study and also complete all of your
courses before you graduate. Moreover, you could apply to do some science
research in your final year and maybe that thing will boost your curriculum vitae
so much.
The thing I liked most about Can Tho university is that they had a lot of
exchange programs with other universities in many countries such as Taiwan,
Thailand or Australia and so on. If you achieve high rank and high score in your
class or even in your faculty, you could enroll in it when the school sent the
information throught the email. Moreover, when you study at school, there are
lots of outdoor and indoor activities or some festivals which are prepared by the
students that you could enjoy.
Un =
til now, I still have no idea about what job I will have when I graduate or what job I want to apply for s
Finally, I hope that my information will help you know more about my
university and my major.
Wish you all the best,
Huong
Firstly, you need to spend more time to understand him. I think you can take him
to go outside to join in some activities like playing sports, meeting friends, going
to the bookstore, etc. You need to let him know that game is not all the things he
can do, there are a lot of things to do outside instead.
Secondly, I think you should limit the time when he uses a phone or a computer.
For example, you can set an automatic time to stop him from using things, of
course, he can use electronic devices but you need to control some apps and
limit him to use maximum of 30 minutes to 1 hour a day.
Lastly, you need to talk and explain to him the disadvantages of playing
computer games too much and set a plan with him. If he tries hard to get an A
mark in class, he can extra time playing game at home
The game is not bad, it helps people relax after a long study or working day, but
you need to control and understand your nephew because he's now in the
“rebellious age”, let be friends with him and remember, patience and
understanding are key when dealing with addiction. It might take time, but with
your support, your nephew can overcome his game addiction and improve his
academic performance.
Let me know if you need more advice or if there's anything else I can do to help.
Best regards,
Your friend

How are things? I hope everything is well with you. Thank you very much for
your email. When I received your email, I was overjoyed. I am doing incredibly
well. I am writing this email to tell you about the problem of your nephew being
addicted to games.
To begin with, as you told me, I can give you some advice to help you. That is
controlling free time. You can spend a lot of time playing and caring for him,
such as by going walking, exercising, and so on.
Secondly, you should plan activities for your nephew to do in his free time, such
as taking part in outdoor activities, social activities, and communication
activities such as swimming, volleyball, badminton, joining an English club, and
so on.
Last but not least, you should discuss with the boy the negative impact of
addictive games and gradually reduce the boy's gaming time.
I hope your nephew does not become addicted to video games and grows up to
be a wonderful boy.
Best wishes,
Jolie

How are you? I am glad to receive your email. I am writing this email to give
you some advice about your problem.
First of all, I think when we play game too much will lead to addicted to game
and your nephew is facing that case. I suggest you can exchange and discuss
problem with your nephew such as when he plays game too much, he can sick
and tired lead to he can not focus on study, work and make anything he want. In
fact, play game has many disadvantages like we can bad study and get bad score,
bad effect of game is nearsighted and become obese. Second, you can search
information about addicted to game to find ways to help your nephew stop
playing game. Finally, I suggest you can organize activitiesactivites for your
nephew to do in his free time. I think organizing lots of activite to have fun help
your nephew stop thinking about playing game. I have some activites to you can
organize for him such as you can organize go on a picnic, go travelling or play
sport. This activites will help he become better, improve his health, study more
effectively and get a deeper understanding of life. Plese write to me if you any
questions.

Hi Daisy, Minh

I hope you're doing well too! It's always nice to hear from you. I still go jogging
in the early morning. It's a great way to start the day. In addition to jogging, I
maintain a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins. Staying
hydrated is essential as well. Regular exercise and a healthy diet are key
components of staying healthy.
When I get tired and need to relax, I have a few strategies. Firstly, I practice
deep breathing exercises to reduce stress and calm my mind. I also enjoy
reading, which helps me unwind. Taking short breaks throughout the day,
whether it's a walk or a few minutes of meditation, is essential. Lastly, spending
quality time with loved ones and engaging in hobbies I enjoy brings relaxation
and a sense of well-being.
Remember that staying healthy and relaxing is a personal journey, and it's
important to find what works best for you. Listen to your body, prioritize self-
care, and you'll strike the right balance.
Take care, and if you have more questions or need further advice, feel free to
ask!
Best wishes,
Tom.

Dear Daisy, Diệp

I was delighted to receive your email.
Every morning, I jog with my mother before beginning the day's activities.
Health issues are really important and necessary for me. I strive to keep the
habit of drinking enough water and sleeping on time, in addition to boosting my
meals with nutrients. For instance, I always make an effort to include veggies,
fruits, and functional foods medicine in my meals. Because taking in too much
nourishment is bad, I am often flexible in adjusting my diet and supplementing
my diet. When I'm weary or anxious, I try to schedule things that promote my
mental health, such as playing badminton or walking about the city. It helps my
mind rest and take in some fresh air. From those, you appear to be healthy and
optimistic. These things have enabled me to study and work with a calm mind
and a healthy body.

How are you? I’m very happy to get your letter. I often go jogging early in
the morning. Being physically healthy enables you to have better overall health.
You only get one body, so taking care of it is important. I usually eat a healthy,
balanced diet ,don’t use tobacco, alcohol, stay aware of your emotions and
moods, get enough sleep.
When I'm tired, I'll make cakes partly as a hobby, partly to help me feel more
relaxed, or I'll read stories

Dear Daisy,
I'm glad you're back in touch after we lost contact for a while. I'm surprised
that you want me to share my secrets to staying healthy and relaxing. In this
letter, I will tell you how I do it.
It's been more than ten years since I last jogged early in the morning. You
know, I can't wake up too early to jog, and I need to sleep more after tiring days
of studying. I switched to jogging in the evening, and that makes me feel better.
I used to look quite overweight, and people told me that too. I once decided to
go on a diet, but it seemed too difficult for me, so I switched to cutting down on
the amount of sugar and fat I intake by limiting my intake of cakes, soft drinks,
junk food, and fast food. => consume
The above are the ways I stay healthy and relax, and I hope they can help
you, at least in part.
