Challenges:

i. What challenges have you discovered about your project that were not
obvious when you did your research?

I discovered new things that I need to add to make refizon more user
friendly. This is a challenge because it is increasing the size of the project
and already the time frame for the project is very limited.

ii. How have you had to change your plan to adapt to these unearthed
challenges?

The initial plan was to have a page which allows user to revise past question
and another which allows them to mock exams. But the plan is to build just
the part that allows them to mock exams only and get a score.

iii. Describe any unexpected non-technical challenges?

There is a lot of things we don’t know and have to learn while on the project.
Researching while on the project can be time consuming.

Collaboration:

Discuss any help you’ve received or provide from/to peers, staff, mentors,
etc.

Discussing our project during the evening sessions with Andrew Ngumbao
has been of help and opened my eyes to so many things which gave me a
lot of headway in te project. He also provided a lot of help on our Trello
board, helped us to go over the exercise and gave real-time feedback.
Project Updates:

Outline any changes you are making to your portfolio project’s deliverables.
Provide reasoning for each.

I am changing some endpoints. For example the endpoint for all report from
/api/v1/exam/<exam_id>/session/<session_id>/report
To

/api/v1/exam/<exam_id>/report/

I was using session to identify an exam report, I will be using a time stamp
instead.

1. Progress

i.On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate the progress you’ve made this
week?

Answer:
Rated 3

ii. How are you measuring your progress?

Answer:

I am measuring my progress based on the percentage of checklist I have

completed from my trello Kanban board.
iii. Discuss why you have given your team (or yourself) this rating.

I see it more as a learning process than a do or die affair. I know I have to

make submission by a certain time but I am taking a step at a time. This
project is a portfolio project for this programme but will continue even after
this programme. I intend to host it and have users for it. I have not even
done up to 3/10 of the things I plan for this project that why I rate myself
3/10.

iv. Provide an assessment of whether your project will be completed on time

as specified in your Project Proposal and MVP definition.

Answer:

The full project may not be delivered within the given timeframe however a
working version will be delivered within the time frame.
