FINANCIAL MODELING IN EXCEL (100 points)

St. Therese College (STC) Corporation is one of the educational institutions in the Philippines. STC employs the
Oracle Accounting System; thus, all journal and adjusting entries for the transactions of the company are
entered in the said system.

For financial reporting purposes, the company uses a fiscal calendar. At the end of each quarter, the company
extracts an accounting ledger from the system. The extracted ledger will be used in the preparation of the
financial statements. The amounts extracted from the ledger will then be transferred to the company’s
financial statement templates.

You are a newly hired general accountant of STC. Your immediate supervisor asked you to prepare the
Statement of Financial Position (SFP) of the company for December 31, 20X1. She provided you with a copy of
the extracted file from Oracle.

Procedures:
1. Open 04 Task Performance 1 Template.xlsx.
2. Study the accounts in the Raw File worksheet.
3. Transfer the amounts and accounts in the Raw File to the FS Template using the functions you learned
from this lesson.
4. Save your file output as “SURNAME_FMDTPW7 and place it on the network drive.
