GIS AND KOBOTOOL Hand On Training

A. OBJECTIVES

The training aims to teach technical staff on GIS and kobotool. At the end of the training, the participants are expected to:

1. Be knowledgeable of the specific Basic GIS operation, digitizing, plotting of Geo tagged, managing attribute tables and map lay outing.

2. have acquired working knowledge of GIS tools and is able to apply it in compiling and updating of existing shape files

3. to have knowledge on Kobotool operations

B. EXPECTED OUTPUT

1. Participants are well trained in Basic GIS Operation, geo-tagged, and Kobotool application

C. TR AINING METHODOLOGY

The training takes on a lecture-practical exercise format to ensure each participant understanding of GIS tools and its usefulness in planning needs
of the participants. The trainers will be using GIS applications that they are familiar with QGIS.

D. TARGET PARTICIPANTS

MPDO,MEO,MDRRMO OTHERS

E. REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAINEES

1. Bring their own laptops or PC for training
