very height and breath of their college life.

Engr. Arlan V. Gutierrez, for giving them information about the faculty loading

and scheduling, for the valuable support and kind accommodation of answering all our

queries regarding the scheduling process. This project will never be possible without him

as the primary source of data.

All the respondents, for giving them their precious time to answer the

questionnaires and for giving their suggestions and comments. This project will never be

materialized without their valuable help.

Ms. Melanie T. David, our editor, for her diligence in correcting the grammatical

construction and organization of this study.

information that he shared to complete this study as well as his positive insights.

The Panel of Oral Examiners, for their constructive criticisms and suggestions;

Dr. Arlyn M. Magana, Dr. Roberto L. Olboc, Mrs. Rosemarie T. Bigueras and Mr. Roms

Evan A. Abanes.

Mr. Roms Evan A. Abanes, for his valuable suggestions and bits of information

that enhanced and specified objects of the study, especially concerning with project

design.

moral, spiritual and financial support.

This expression of gratitude will not be complete without acknowledging the

various authors and publishers who have unknowingly contributed to the preparation of

this project.

And to all those people whose names were not mentioned yet helped the

researchers in their own simple ways. The researchers are very much thankful for what

you did. You just know who you are.

Lastly and surely won’t be the least, to our Almighty God, for always guiding and

Abstract

This research study is concerned mainly on proposing a Computerized Faculty

Loading System that may improve the process of manual distribution of workloads to the

faculty. To realize this, the following objectives were formulated: to analyze the existing

faculty loading system of CNSC; to identify problems encountered in the operation of the

existing system; to provide possible solutions to the identified problems; and to create

and develop a Computerized Faculty Loading System for CNSC.

The Descriptive-Survey Method of research was used. Respondents are the

College Secretary, the Department Chairman and the Dean whom the data were gathered

through interviews and questionnaires.

Through the use of percentage formula as statistical tool, the results were

interpreted and analyzed, and the researchers found out that there were various factors

that must be considered and disregarded in developing the system.

The result of the study will serve as an advantage to the persons-in-charge in the

faculty loading and scheduling process. It seeks to provide accurate class schedule and

distribute workload to the faculty without consuming too much time during the process.

To this end, it is recommended that a comprehensive development program and

strategies that focus to improve the complexity of the system and adopt a more efficient

and effective system. As an improved system design, it will present a user friendly

interface. The CNSC Computerized Faculty Loading System will be made to improve

ix
and speed up the manual processing of faculty workload distribution and class

scheduling.
