CE413 Lecture 3 CFT Column

This document outlines a lecture on composite steel concrete structures given by Professor Dr. Mahbuba Begum. The lecture covers an assessment problem, the behavior of concrete filled tubular columns, American Institute of Steel Construction design provisions, and the axial compressive and tensile strength of concrete filled tubular columns. Design equations and factors are provided for determining the compressive and tensile strength of these columns.
