INFORMATION LITERACY
Information literacy is the ability to find, evaluate, organize, use, and

communicate information in all its various formats, most notably in situations
requiring decision making, problem solving, or the acquisition of knowledge. It
is a combination of research skills, critical thinking skills, computer technology
skills, and communication skills. Information literacy is essential for academic
success, effective functioning in the workplace, and participation in society as
knowledgeable citizens.

ICT is the technologies that aid the collection, processing or the circulation
of information or data.
Literacy is the ability to classify, comprehend, interpret, construct,
communicate, compute and use written and printed materials connected
with different contexts.
ICT literacy pertains to the skill of making effective use of digital
technology, communication tools, and networks to satisfy the user's
information needs.
ICT LITERACY
Information and communication technologies include computers, laptops,

digital cameras, video cameras, digital microscopes, scanners, cell phones,
electronic games, digital audio devices, global positioning systems,
electronic whiteboards, the Internet, et cetera.

ICT LITERACY
"ICT proficiency is the ability to use digital technology, communication

tools, and/or networks appropriately to solve information problems in order
to function in an information society. This includes the ability to use
technology as a tool to research, organize, evaluate, and communicate
information and the possession of a fundamental understanding of the
ethical/legal issues surrounding the access and use of information."
