1. Go to https://my.abertay.ac.uk/
You’ll find your student number at the top of the email you’ve received from the Abertay IT Service Desk.
Password Requirements
• Minimum 14 characters (consider
using words to create a passphrase)
• Your password must not include any
part of your name or username.

Your MyAbertay Dashboard shows tiles of various systems and services. Click on the Mail
via Office365 tile to access your university email.
Now you have your Abertay IT account, you can log in to MyAbertay any time and explore your
personalised dashboard for University services and information.
Some areas, such as your timetable, reading lists and specific course materials in MyLearningSpace,
will only become available as you complete the Registration process, but there’s lots of other useful
information to explore.
Note – You should open OASIS via the tile in MyAbertay which will log you in directly, however if you are
prompted to login, just use your studentnumber (@uad.ac.uk not required)
Click on the OASIS tile from MyAbertay, you are required to upload a photo for
your Abertay Student ID Card by using the Photo Upload facility. This can be
found in the myApplication or the myStudent tab.
MyAbertay is available as a mobile application, for iOS, Android and Windows 10 Mobile. Free to
install directly from the app store on iPhone and Android, requiring a single login at first use, MyAbertay
mobile is optimised for convenience.
Whilst MyAbertay is responsive and will change to a smaller screen size for tablets and mobile
phones, using the app will allow you to receive push notifications and quick access to the
dashboard.
Personalisation is not available via the mobile app, but you can personalise your mobile dashboard
using a computer.
