The area had already been surveyed by our Survey team, for details of methodology used please refer
to Method Statement 1001 – 290 – V8 – 0000 – 0001 Rev. 2.
Once completed the construction team will study the surveying findings as well as information and

agreed for the above facilities.
All employees deployed on this project will wear the minimum of safety helmet, safety boots, high

locations free from underground utilities.
Where no such services are evident then clearing and leveling of the ground area will take place using
grader with further filling provided where necessary in layers, each layer spread using grader, then
watered and finally compacted with a vibrating roller.
Prior to any construction taking place we will prepare a temporary entrance to the site, by cordoning
the entrance with cones and warning tape, placing signs at 100 metres on both sides of the entrance

which will have been selected as having sufficient lifting capacity and radius to lift and position the
cabins, will be located in agreed location(s) complete with fully extended outriggers, placed on packing
to spread the load (as per lifting plan). A proof test load will be applied to check that the SWL gauge
and computer are functioning correctly. A peruse checklist will be used to ensure thecrane is in good
condition.

the lift zone, banksmen will be positioned.
The trailers will be brought into such a position as to allow the crane using full outriggers on pads,
complete with lifting beam(with competent operator and rigger) to have slinging equipment attached
lifting positions at the base of each office unit, using “D” shackles. Each will then be offloaded in this
manner and located onto the concrete foundations using taglines.
