2. Be Respectful
-Always be polite and use appropriate language.
-Do not access, create, store, or distribute files that could be thought of as offensive,
indecent or cause hurt or upset to anyone.
-Do not look at anyone else’s file without their permission.
- Know that bullying by the use of text, multimedia messaging, email or social sites is
unacceptable and may lead to very serious consequence.
3. Be Safe
-Do not share your personal information on other people’s.
-Be wary of emails that ask you for any personal information.
-Check with an adult about anything you see that concerns you or report it to a teacher.
-Do not put any personal details about other people into emails, posts, comments, or
updates.
-Never meet up with anyone offline that you have only meet online without a parent or
trusted adult.
4. Be Responsible
-Think carefully about the places you go online and keep focused when on learning
task.
-Take good care of the ICT equipment you use. Understand that if you are
irresponsible in the use of ICT, you may lose your access to it.
-Understand that you may be able to use your own device or mobile phone in school
only at agreed times. If you use it in class without permission, your device may be
confiscated, and your parent will be informed.
5. Be Legal
-Only take images or video of other pupils, friends or anyone with their full knowledge
and permission.
-Do not copy, upload, publish, distribute images or videos of others without their
permission.
-You should not copy the materials, music, videos or pictures from the internet and use
them in your own work unless they are copyright free.
-Remember that anything you can be traced back to you including your browsing
history and content that you may copy, upload, publish or distribute.

3. Wiktionary -This is an online multilingual dictionary that contains the meaning, origin and
pronunciations of words.
4. Wikiversity-This site supports free learning communication, projects, materials, and other
learning resources that may be used in all levels, types and styles of education.
9. Wikibooks-This is a free library of educational books and manuals that maybe edited,
changed, and improved by anyone.
Steps in using Wiki
1. Open your browser (example: Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox.)
2. Type in the content that you want to look for in Wiki in the search bar
(example: historical events like the history of computer.)
3. Select the Wiki page from the results or findings from your previous search.
4. You will be directed to the website.
5. From there, you will find information about the topic you are searching for
What is blog?
Explain the different and specific topics/issues found in each type of blog.
1. Fashion Blog- contains trend in fashion, seasonal clothing, new fashion styles/design
from well-known brands, prices, where to source, and the like.
2. Travel blog -contains experiences in travelling to other places both local and
international accompanied with pictures which include beautiful sceneries, places to
eat, hotel and lodging shops, and how to go to places using the internet.
3. Music blog -contains update in album releases of popular singer or bands about the
songs from local to international artist.
4. Food blog -Contains a place to eat, popular menu or recipes they love, and how to
go the cafeterias/ restaurants. There are also critiques of food eaten prices of food,
and food they recommend for the reader to visit.
5. Beauty blog -contains beauty products, how they are used, and what they do to the
skin, face, and body. There are also DIY (do-it- by yourself) beauty product. Review
on the well-known brand of customers, make-up looks, and how to do makeover are
interesting topics to read on.
